We absolutely loved our visit to Era Pancake & Café in Woodruff! I called before our visit to inquire if breakfast was served all day, the hostess giggled at my excited gleeful squeal before telling me she'd see us soon. We were so excited to have breakfast for dinner! The Crème Brûlée French Toast alone is worth the drive—rich, caramelized, and downright dreamy. I couldn’t resist pairing it with a mimosa at 6:30 at night (because why not?), and it was the perfect touch. Fresh squeezed. Yummmm.

My husband went all-in with the chicken fried steak that was paired with biscuit & gravy, and wow—it was massive and deliciously savory. The gravy was perfect.

The Million Dollar Bacon was every bit as indulgent as it sounds, and our 2-year-old daughter was in heaven with the sprinkle pancakes—I’m convinced that whipped cream was the best part!

As restaurant owners ourselves, we were incredibly impressed—not just by the food, but by the service. Yuliia was steadily busy with a full section yet still gave every guest, including us, warm and consistent service, even taking the time to chat and show every single diner the same hospitality.

OUTSTANDING! We stumbled upon Era Cafe on a whim—and I’m so glad we did, because it turned out to be one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm, modern atmosphere. It felt like the perfect blend of stylish and welcoming—bright, clean, and full of good energy. But what truly set Era Cafe apart was the service. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. I have some specific dietary restrictions, and they didn’t just accommodate them—they made me feel understood and completely at ease. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast this morning on our way back to the Milwaukee area. We have never been here, but it was recommended to us after we realized our normal place a bit further north was closed. We are so glad we stopped here!!!! So many great choices, and reasonably priced. The waitress was unbelievably sweet. After my son asked if they had "smiley face pancakes" & ordered regular pancakes when she said they dont, she came back with this and said this was her best attempt at smile face pancakes! When she brought the bill she kept saying there was no rush, she just was a bit busy and didn't want to make us wait for her.
