Marco's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Town of Arcade

Below is the first review I gave this establishment. Its been a year and my son won a gift certificate from a Halloween party put on by the Arcade Fire Department (Thank you all that work at the Fire Department you all do a great job all year round and the kids love this dance!!!) The gift certificate was to be for $15. When I went to pay... mind you i ordered more than $15 worth of food. Like I said I was trying to give them another chance!!! They said there was only $5 on the card!!! There is not even a thing on there menu other than a drink for $5!!! Not even a kids meal pizza in under $5 dollars and they are a pizza place giving a gift certificate away stating its for more than what it is!!! I repeat DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a reason I stopped going there and there is a reason I still will not!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pizza is great when they do it right! But if they make a mistake they throw it bake in the oven or argue with you that you're wrong and that you just want free food! Staff are younger kids and very rude no business ethics. Owner believes that it's wasting food if they screw up and you should keep...

12/5/21 Pizza night. I picked up a take out consisting of: a large mushroom, pepperoni, and cheese pizza; and 10 wings. I invited my friend over to share the food. We all stated, 'something tasted different,' after taking a bite or two of the pizza. We couldn't figure out why or what it was. Then my husband and friend both stated ' the different taste to pizza' -hmmm- 'I think it's the mushrooms. They are SOUR tasting'. My friend was in the bathroom twice before she left. This was reported to Marco's the next day, when the remaining Pizza was also returned to Marco's. When I Stated that the mushrooms were sour - and, NOT right. I WAS 'brushed off', and NOTHING was offered in restitution , or to correct this situation. My family and I will NOT be ordering anything from this place in the future. They did not care that they sold us an INEDIBLE mushroom pizza or care to make the situation right....

The food was pretty good it's your traditional pizza place. About the same as any other pizza place in the area. We had a pretty wide selection of food. A tuna sub (it was good but nothing special I would order it again), chicken fingers (slightly over cooked and not much flavor I would not order it again), chicken cordon bleu sub (ok at best, it was not Cordon Bleu it was a chicken finger sub with honey mustard though. I would not order it again)traditional Stromboli (this was the best item we ordered it was pretty good with plenty of cheese. Not much ham though. I would order it again for sure) jalapeno poppers (they tasted like something out of the freezer section at my local store. Not good at all.
