I'm not one to typically write reviews, but my experience at Night School was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share my enthusiasm with the world. This brick and mortar bar, pizzeria, and brewery is a true gem, and I'm still reeling from the fantastic evening I had.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The dimly lit space is adorned with vintage decor, giving it a unique and eclectic charm. The vibe is cozy and intimate, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic evening.

But the atmosphere is only half the story. The food at Night School is truly exceptional. I opted for the Margherita pizza, and it was love at first bite. The crust was crispy and flavorful, topped with a generous helping of creamy mozzarella and a sprinkle of fresh basil. The flavors were expertly balanced, and I could taste the quality of the ingredients.

And then, of course, there's the beer. Oh, the beer! Night School's brews are crafted with care and attention to detail, and it shows. I tried the "Night Owl" IPA, and it was a revelation. The hoppy flavors were bold and refreshing, with just the right amount of bitterness. I could drink it all night (and almost did!).

But what truly sets Night School apart is the staff. Our server, Rachel, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. She took the time to answer our questions about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The entire team seemed to be working together seamlessly, ensuring that every table was well taken care of.

In short, Night School is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves great food, great beer, and a fantastic atmosphere. I'll be back, and I'll be bringing my friends. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and get there ASAP. You won't regret it!

WOW!!! This brewery is a hidden gem in the small town of Athens NY. The beers 🍻 were delicious and the best we had during our visit to NY. The concept of fried beers is truly amazing 👏 🤩. We tried all of them on the menu!! The owner and brewer Johnny was awesome!! The brewery has an amazing vibe welcoming, cozy, and perfect for a special date night. We met Nate the bartender who was very welcoming and friendly. What an amazing group of people work at this brewery. The food was delicious 😋 our wings YUM!!! Pizza 🍕 deliciousness!! Live music 🎶. They have a bar seating area with tables all around to enjoy the live music. The pool table is to the right of the brewery when you walk in. They have an outdoor sitting area. The service we received deserved more than five stars the atmosphere and food too. It's hard to find a local brewery where you feel welcomed and the staff is top notch! The experience we had at this particular brewery was excellent!! Johnny, Nate thank you!! For making our four-hour trip well worth the drive 🚗. The live music was excellent thanks to Nate and Chris. Top tier pizza & beer, and it’s so nice to see a new business operating in this fantastic historic space! There’s a good amount of space for small-to-medium sized groups as well as plenty of tables for couples. I was also very pleased to discover the “Night School” line of beers had a variety of nice sessionable options like pilsners & pale ales, as I knew the Deep Fried Beers tend to be a little higher octane (both brands are house-made and just have different styles they focus on)! I like a hazy DIPA now and again I definitely prefer something a little lighter and more quaffable to pair with pizza, so it was a nice surprise to have a few options! They also have a full cocktail menu and a variety of other beers, ciders, etc, so they definitely have something for everyone in your group compared to a lot of breweries! I’ll have to return for a $4 Draft Hamms (one of my favorite cheap beers and difficult to find on the East Coast)! It felt wrong to not drink the house made brews the first time...
