Katch at Venetian Shores — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Katch was amazing as usual I've been there almost Every day the music is fantastic. Everyone seems to really enjoy being there. Dancing sometimes is a bit difficult because so many people men n women or just a group of ladies babies n children grandmas n grandpas as I look around everyone seems to be having fun. Some enjoying the sand, others a cocktail or two and I dare say even though it's fast food the lines indicate that the food is very good. I personally can't speak about the seafood but from what I've Observed it must be very good because tons of people are waiting online for it. If you haven't been there you should check it out it's free to enter and park it's huge there's a playground for the kids. A beautiful deck that was built recenthat was built recent with lights hanging all over and the most beautiful Palm trees you want to see. It makes you feel like you're on a tropical island it is absolutely wonderful I highly recommended, put it on top of your weekend list and come on down it's open 7 days a week they have entertainment every night and one night is better than the next they offer music of all kinds of genres so that whoever goes has a pick what night you prefer they play jazz they play rock and roll oldies and even Latin music a little bit of everything so step out put Your feet in the sand get a cocktail And sit back and and watch the sunset. I have seen the most incredible sunsets and the moon turning completely pink you feel like you're away somewhere in a tropical island don't miss out this year get there and experience it for yourself it's marvelous. As someone who visits this place REGULARLY, I’ve gotten drinks and dinner and been with friends, I CANNOT believe the service I got today - which had nothing to do with even sitting down to eat….

So my son BUSTED his face right outside of Katch. It’s okay, he’s a boy, but he was bleeding EVERYWHERE. Sadly we couldn’t get an ice pack from the lifeguards stand since they had an incident prior to ours which took them.

I politely knocked on the door, knowing they were about to open for live music (we’re talking like 5 minutes….). I wasn’t trying to be rude, but at least get my two year old a couple of ice cubes for the ride home.

Literally, staring at me through the door, as I am COVERED in blood, this young girl holds her arms in an X to me. I then said I’m sorry I literally just need some ice, and she does it AGAIN, and laughs at me… LAUGHS at me while my child is screaming in my arms and I’m covered in blood.

So in the case management sees this, she was a shorter girl with darker hair, black shirt. She was working the opening shift on Thursday 8/15. Looks like she was wearing an apron.

Be better.

I will no longer bring friends or family to this establishment after spending god knows HOW MUCH MONEY here this summer. How messed up is that?

Katch gets an “X” for customer...

i’ve never been so frustrated!!! first time i’m here, a busy Tuesday, we’re sat at a table waiting to catch a waitress and when we finally do to ask if we can put an order in, (which we said “are we able to put in an order through you?” which she replied yes give me a moment), she never comes back and then when i finally see her again (we never cane across a different waitress) i ask her if she has time for me to place an order, she says the kitchen is closed and closed at 9:20, are you serious? you couldn’t have advised us when i asked you because i definitely asked her AFTER 9:20. then gives ME an attitude when i said i wish she could’ve just told me i could order at the bar or on another side, i wouldve done it myself i promise that wasn’t the problem. i’m so annoyed i HAD to write a review because whatever you were busy i can literally see that, but to give me an attitude because i’m frustrated that YOU NEVER CAME BACK??? waitresses...
