Venetian Shores Beach Hut — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

The once tolerably pricey menu and bar that was the norm for “the Beach Hut”—shrugged away, owed to good to unbelievably talented nightly bands and comforts of crowd gatherings.

Gatherings where you were certain to find a friend who was ‘MIA’ for years, or a new friend in the crowd. The aptly named Beach Hut has been taken over. 😐 The new owners have found it befitting to rename the iconic Beach 🏖 Hut—please sit down for the following. Alright, the new name is as poor as its limited previously frozen (no fresh) menu and bar prices—having been idiotically retitled KATCH. Yes, that is Katch with a ‘K’.

The nightly bands have talent ranging from newly-formed garage bands to pretty good, for those who came to get a buzz on. For those who don’t partake, the music sounds like a tape recording played on a Wollensak tape...

This place is a local secret! Great bar, great bar food, and a great environment/atmosphere. They also have live music entertainment (Band’s, DJ’s).

If you’re looking for a chill beach bar vibe, without breaking the bank whilst being able to literally drink inches from the beach and about 30 yards from the Ocean!!

Went there a week ago and scedule said there was a band but there was no band plying:( very disappointed as normally it reslly is a fun time with a nice turnout: they sell beer dpecialty drinks and food: the line gor the drinks is usually very long and the food is fried but decent for a beach pavillion: check them out next summer:...
