Pudgie's Pizza, Pasta & Subs - Waverly — Restaurant in Town of Barton

while the food we did get was good, I am honestly more disappointed in what we didn't get that we ordered. we (attempted to) order a meatball sub (which was never rang in or given to us) a large order of mild wings, a small order of garlic wings, extra Bleu cheese (which we never got), and two cheese steak salads. I then called in to see if maybe the sub was sitting on a rack ready to go. I was then told by the man who answered the phone (it wasn't his fault and in his defense he was nice) that it was never rang in. he did ask if I wanted to speak to a manager which I declined his offer. (we didn't pay for the sub so I wasn't as upset about it). what I was mainly upset about was the fact that even though we spent 60ish dollars on the food listed above that I still had to cook anyways for my wife. I'm not sure where the lack of communication came from or what happened but I unfortunately cannot justify spending that much money when it's not even guaranteed if I get it or let alone if it's even put on my tab. On top of the fact of there being close to a 45 minute wait time. Normally I don't write negative reviews but this isn't my first negative experience with this location. I am unsure of whether I will return to this establishment or not.

Update: The owner of the restaurant reached out to me and inquired upon the situation. She was very professional and very swift in her action of making things right after I explained the situation. I have changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars.I will be giving this establishment another chance in the semi-near future where that interaction can improve the rating to a 4...

First, when I called, the lady that answered the phone was very rude, and had an additude with me, i was very nice and patient, i called an hour before the time I wanted to pick the pizza and wings up, so I was also being generous in giving them plenty of time so they didnt have to rush. We get to pudgies to pick up order and my boyfriend said that she had additude with him aswell, and seemed like everyone was in a bad mood. When we got home and opened the pizza every slice had exactly 3 pepperoni in a straight line at the tops of each slice. The ranch I got with the boneless wings was like jello so I passed on that and used my own. Not impressed at all. Never going...

I traveled to my hometown 2 years ago on Oct 16. (My nephew & my oldest sons birthday). They LOVE pudgies. My nephew had muscular dystrophy and hadn't seen his cousins ( my sons) in many years. They were young men now. My youngest son, we had " deliver" the pizza. We filmed as he entered the house, asked for a tip and behaved inappropriate for a delivery person. I told the manager what we were doing and she generously lent me a uniform. My nephew was so surprised, he said it was one of his best birthdays ever. So surprised .
