There was a switch in owners, and after the last one left, this new one had created a disgusting atmosphere to step into. Myself and a group I was with walked into the store and was hit with a sour smell, the floor was unswept, there was food and cans on the ground and tables, there was a back room visible with an unkept carpet, a rabbits cage with bedding everywhere and a person sleeping on a couch. This had a lazy curtain hung over the door way but was still open to the public eye. The shelves were vacant, the staff was unhelpful and neglectful, and behind the counter someone was in a VR headset sleeping with a comforter over them. I can't make ts up. This place is amazing. I came in with my daughter last week and we are new to MTG so we always get a little anxious heading into an lgs because we don't know a ton about the game and very rarely do we see folks we know. That being said our experience at Stronghold was phenomenal. Everyone was super welcoming and very nice. We had a great time chatting about cards and I even pulled my first ever valuable card from a pack.
