I wouldn’t order from here again. First off, the tiny mozzarella sticks were not worth it at all. As for the pizza—I was NOT expecting a flat, flimsy, thin-as-paper slice with absolutely no crust. It honestly reminded me of old gas station pizza. The flavor was okay—the sauce and cheese were actually pretty good and cooked to perfection—but the crust was a HUGE disappointment. It tasted like it had been reheated from two days ago. The bottom looked almost burnt, but weirdly, there was no crunch at all. Where did the crust go? Why didn’t the dough rise even a little?
The service didn’t help the experience either. When I called to place the order, a young kid answered the phone so casually I wasn’t even sure I had the right place—just a “Yo, hey” like he was picking up a call from a friend. I wasn’t given a total over the phone. When the food arrived, he didn’t ring the doorbell; I only knew he was there because my dogs started barking. He handed me the food and just stood there until I asked how much it was. He didn’t offer change and by then I’d already handed over what ended up being nearly a 50% tip. He asked, “Are you sure?” but it felt like an afterthought. He wasn’t rude, but he definitely wasn’t friendly either.
If you’ve got kids, they might like the pizza—but personally, I won’t be ordering...
Read moreI come from Long Island where there is a pizza place every 100 yards. I know good pizza ( In my opinion). Busy place. Getting a good turnout. Small for seating but who cares. I bought two slices and struck up a little conversation with counter guy. When he said they came from Bayonne NJ they got extra points. He heated up my slices and I took it to go. $5.00. That's comparable. The guy before me was short on cash and they let him slide. More extra points. I am personal friends with pizza shop owners. They don't let anyone slide. So I'm in the truck. First slice hot, crispy thin crust. I'm a sauce hound so I was happy with amount. Not to much and not to little. Slight bend at the tip. I like a strong sauce so I give it a 8 on the sauce. 9 on the slice and 9 on the crust. This is my new...
Read moreTrust me I know good pizza and this spot actually uses a real pizza oven so u get that good crisp bite and perfectly cooked dough. It's a hard thing to get right the only better pizza is from nyc and that like 300 miles away. Compared to every other pizza spot up here this guy knows what he's doing. Good prices good crew and finally amazing pizza. Every spot up here uses conveyor belt type of pizza cooking. Not Vinny. I almost cried tears of joy when I finally found some pizza that was just as good as city pizza after moving up here. I thought I would never tast good food again. Vinny changed that. Keep...
