Great prices and great food. Especially on Wednesday (when I went), for $0.50 wings. I sat at the bar and was served by the bartender Sean. He was a very friendly guy and very attentive. I enjoy my time so much that I just kept ordering drinks and chatting with locals and other travelers.
This pub does accept cards (other places in the area are cash only).
I interacted briefly with a few other waitstaff who were all very pleasant and friendly and willing to talk with a chatty traveler.
The pub is a bit small (maybe 12 tables and the bar). So be aware if you are headed there during a busy time (say Wednesdays at 5:30) that it may be a short wait. But there are drinks to be had...
Read moreWas in town last week with a small group, went in for wings and a beer. Price of the wings on the menu was $10 for 10 wings. Ordered 20 wings total. When the bill arrived, I was charged $14 for both sets of 10 wings. When I asked the waitress why .. she told me "that was the market price of wings, and their cost was skyrocketing." I asked her why the menu said $10 and she replied that" the menus hadn't been changed yet". I asked her why she didn't mention the price change when the wings were ordered, and she just gave me a blank stare. A nice place to visit, and the wings were fine .. but the billing / price gouging left a sour taste...
Read moreFirst time I called for to go I was placed on hold for 20 min and the person never hung up the phone so I couldn't call back and had to go there to order it happened to be the owner who did it and he was not apologetic and laughed it off. However the wait was surprisingly fast and made up for it but the second time I ordered to go the waitress was pleasant but I got there and still had to wait a long time for my order sitting there the waitress socialized with one table for too long before acknowledging new table and I was not acknowledged when I came in until I approached someone to ask about my order....
