Our favorite spot in Bayfield just got even better with the addition of Howl Cafe featuring authentic Italian gelato and Colectivo coffee, and more! This unique place has always been a must-visit for beer, outdoor gear, and a perfect outdoorsy hangout (sometimes a taco truck and live music too), but these new offerings have truly elevated the experience. The gelato is rich and creamy, bringing a taste of Italy to the South Shore of Lake Superior. Pair that with a perfectly brewed Colectivo coffee, and you have a match made in heaven. This place is inside the bike shop, which is also connected to the brewery. You can get coffee a few places around town, but if you want great coffee, you need to come here. They know what they’re doing. This place is owned & ran by people who are passionate about coffee. I tried a couple coffee shops in town, & theirs is BY FAR the best. The quality of the coffee is great, & they know how to brew it. The owner is very personable. They have some pastries, bagels, etc; and gelato, but we didn’t get the gelato. We visited the new Howl Cafe this afternoon. It is located inside the Howl shop just outside beautiful Bayfield in northern Wisconsin. We shopped in the store then visited the Cafe for their Gelato. It is delicious. There is lots of seating in their large outdoor patio area. They also have an on-site micro brewery.
