Eckels Pottery and Fine Craft Gallery — Attraction in Town of Bayfield

We always swing into this gallery when in Bayfield. I have a few amazing pieces from there. This weekend we were there shopping and I removed a piece from the wall to purchase and the owner was so upset with me. She ran over and scolded me for taking it down (It was a 3"x3" small wall tile.) She was abrupt and rude and told me that she doesn't want people touching them and I should of read the sign. There was a very small sign way off to the side that I simply failed to see. I apologized and she was very irritated with me. I absolutely love my AppleFest 2021 mug! It is made wonderfully and I love it! I am giving a review of 3 because of the customer service. The young gal who worked in there this weekend was screaming (I have kids, I know what screaming is) at customers who weren't wearing masks properly like they were breaking the artwork. I was appalled that someone could treat grown adults like that. In the 7 minutes I was there, she yelled at 2 people. I understand if you want your customers to wear masks, but remember you get a lot more bees with honey. Be kind and...

Loved checking this place out! It features pottery, metal works, soaps, kitchen items, wall hangings, home decor accents and cards and more! The garden outside is gorgeous to look at and choose garden decor items from as well. Definitely worth looking around and supporting some of the local artists featured here!
