Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are good. However, they are a bit pricey, given the area they are located in. I have bought from here before, but I guess I didn't pay attention to the prices. Well, the other day I went in and bought three (3) sandwiches, "Bacon, Egg& Cheese on a Roll, and the total came to $21.25 (as best I can recall the change). Btw..... the sandwich comes with your choice of coffee, tea, or orange juice). Nevertheless, $7.00 is (somewhere between $2-$3 TOO MUCH) DEFINITELY TOO MUCH!!! Point, Simple, and Got Doe Mighty, BLANK!!!!!! (in my non-existent country accent)!!!😂😂😂😂😂 But, on a more serious note....Come on!!! I know we are living in the times of a global crisis, which has all but financially crippled the small business sector. I also know that most "SUCCESSFUL" businesses pass their losses onto their customers through price markups. But, this is just utterly ridiculous, imo. If I'm buying a Hamburger at a diner, I expect to pay extra for that pickle that is tucked into the wrapper, with the burger, or wrapped by itself. But these burgers are typically better. I didn't taste that "Significant Difference" in their egg sandwich, from the neighborhood...

This place is HORRIBLE! The service is SO slow and my order is NEVER right from this place. I order a very simple bacon, egg, cheese with salt, pepper and ketchup on an egg bagel... easy enough, right? Wrong. What I get handed to me is a soggy disgusting greasy mess! The eggs had so much grease they were sliding off the bagel, AND they were prepared over easy, there was barely any ketchup, oh and they never put on the bacon! I was the only customer with a kitchen order. The place wasn’t busy at all, there’s just no reason that I had to get a sandwich handed to me like that. I never leave reviews but this is the 3rd time I’ve had this kind of experience at this place. I want to like them because the women are nice there but that’s about it. I just wasted money this morning - oh and I ordered a hungry man too for my husband and that came the same damn way! Soggy, greasy mess and it was missing the meat!!! Needless to say, I’ve still got a ‘hungry man’ here at home! Such a waste - 2 sandwiches went right into the garbage. I’ll never go...

That’s definitely a amazing breakfast spot, they all are so loving and always go above and beyond for their customers and I witnessed it but today whoever lady was on register I guess related with owners or one of the Owner I’m not sure about it and I don’t want to because for one coffee and for a few cents, she became so rude and it was an embarrassment because other customers were standing over there. I went there like hundred times I never had such bad experience which I had today and I don’t want to go there anymore.
