I lived in this area almost 30 years and have seen every Italian restaurant and take out place there has been. I'm sure most people will agree that mama Lisa's restaurant is awesome and probably the top restaurant in the area. However, these guys blow mama Lisa's away when it comes to the taste, quality, pricing, and portion size. I've tried the chicken burrito, regular pizza, Chicken cutlet parm hero, the meatball parm hero and my favorite the ham calzone, which is to die for. If you love ham calzones? this place makes them like they did back in Brooklyn in 1955! Full slices of ham inside. Want to try this place , trust me, you won't go anyplace else. The food was so yummy - i ate a steak salad and it did not disappoint but this is not what this review is about. I live in Mastic, i dont want to but i do. I dined in and left my Louis Vuitton purse on the chair of the table i ate at and i didn't realize until 3 hours later and by that time they had closed. When they opened at 10 i ran in to ask if anyone found my purse. Much to my deep relief, the same man at the counter the night before was there and remembered me and HAD FOUND MY PURSE AND PUT IT AWAY FOR ME!!! I wish i got his name!!! UGH!!! Just had the most delicious meal at Los Amigos Restaurant in Shirley, NY!! The food was amazing and the service is always outstanding. They have the best variety of food around!!
