Milano Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Milano’s Pizza was a wonderful surprise in Bellport. We are back on the island for a family gathering, and needed to find someplace to eat. We remembered Milano’s from when we used to live here, and figured we should head there for a slice on our way to our AirBnB.

Honestly, we were blown away. The slices were awesome! Not overheated and not cold either. The crust is perfect. Not stiff and burnt or soft like wet cardboard. They were just right. Next day, it’s too cold to go outside, so we opted to place a DoorDash order from Milano’s. A grandma Pie, pepperoni roll, chicken parm hero and an Italian hero. All of them were outstanding. Lived on Long Island for 18 years. Worked in Manhattan to 10 years. The sandwiches and pizza from Milano’s was among the best I ever had anywhere inthose places over the years. The chicken parm here was generously made with layers of chicken cutlet, just the right amount of cheese and a sweet tasty tomato sauce. The Italian hero also had generous layers of ham, pepperoni, cheeses, tomato, a great oil & vinegar dressing and the same perfect hero roll. We haven’t had hero sandwiches like this in years. The Grandma pie was… PERFECT. A great crust, perfectly seasoned sauce, and cheese on top made just like grandma used to make. The pepperoni roll was also amazing. Loads of pepperoni, cheese and sauce in a perfect roll. Side sauce to dip in was included and had such a great sewer taste. I would suggest Milano’s to anyone looking for true NYC...

I normally work in the city but had a service call in the area and meet my wife here for lunch. Place was clean, friendly atmosphere, women behind the counter was really nice. We ordered the penne a la vodka with grilled chicken, order came with a side of garlic knots. The meal was ok it needed a bit of something. We added salt, pepper, and some red flakes came out ok. We also ordered a pepperoni slice which was good and very cheesy. If in the neighborhood would stop by to try something else...

Person that was taking our order was very rude. I kept trying to ask him what kind of pizzas he had and what they had on them and he totally ignored us for about 5 min. Bring in front of us !!!! He even said he didn't want to take care of this type of customers in a restaurant. And ofc. No offense but we were the only Spanish people there and he was white. I ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza slice ... he gave a whole different one with scallions and some chicken with no flavor.. never again...
