McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Brunswick

Going downhill fast unfortunately when it used to be the only decent store in the area. Have long appreciated whoever decorated and made it feel homier than a typical boring McDonald's. That said, we've had order issues a few times now, including missing items in delivery, pickup and even counter orders for eating in.

Last time my pickup order was missing half the items and when I went inside and asked for the rest I was told "it's all in there I packed it myself" when the missing items were sitting on the counter right behind her except for the 2 fries because there were not even any fries ready at the time. Looks like she was hoping I would just leave and she could keep the food for herself as she had no intention of giving me the fries that had just gone in and took 5 minutes to fry. The fries in the box were cold and less than half full.

The worst was this morning when I placed a breakfast order for pickup. I've ordered breakfast several times and never had a problem right up until 11 am. Today, the order went through at 10:25, was accepted and confirmed, I was charged and as I arrived to the store at 10:40 I was notified that it was cancelled. I went in and asked why they cancelled it and the woman told me they "don't have breakfast." I said "you don't do breakfast at all?" and she said no. I was so confused bc I literally had it delivered a few weeks ago and asked her why was I able to place an order for breakfast food if they don't have any and she just shrugged and pointed to the clock. I said "do you mean breakfast is over? when does it end?" as it was 11 last time we ordered and she said no it's 1030. I said ok, well I placed my order before then? And she just stared at me. I said so you just have no breakfast items available even though I placed an order before 1030, literally 10 minutes ago and you already charged me and she just shrugged. Ridiculous.

I then ordered at least the iced coffees figuring they would at least have that. It took over 5 minutes for them to make 4 coffees (I only ordered 3) and then they were literally just room temp coffee poured into a plastic cup with three or four pieces of ice thrown in.

Disgusting, we threw them out on our way into Stewart's to get real iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee thing has happened twice before in the last few weeks too. I get it, it's fast food, but what the hell is wrong with people that they don't even know how to make an...

This is the closest McDonalds near my house. Of course I’m going to go there considering it’s on Hoosick Street, everyone goes there, and sometimes it’s easier to get my family dinner there on long nights. I’ve had a problem with one of the employees there in middle school and I figured that it was so long ago and she’s working, so there would be no issues. Why would I willingly go to a place that someone who works there, hates me? A few days ago my little sister wanted to get some food so I ordered through drive through. As I pulled up, my former peer appeared to be working the cashier. I pulled up and grabbed my drink from her, and she proceeded to say “girl bye” and slammed the door on me and left me waiting for my food for 10 more minutes. Totally inappropriate. A few days later, my mother was grabbing lunch and she got harassed and swore at by the same girl. This should not have affected her. That was my last straw. This McDonalds is going to lose business if this harassment keeps going on. Thankfully, my mother’s camera on her car captured the whole thing and I got to see that employees actions. I avoid all mcdonalds like a bad flu normally but once in a blue moon i might go get a breakfast sandwich and when i do i avoid this particular mcdonalds. However, on this day my kids needed dinner it was there i didnt have time to cook and immediately was reminded why i dont come here. There were 8 cars in a deadlock for at least 4 min in the drive thru, so i went in. Inly 2 people there. Ordered my food at 8:24. Watched those 2 people get their food, watched those 8 cars go by, then watched 7 more cars come and go with food i ordered, nuggets here, shakes there, finally when there was no car they decide to make my food, hand it to me at 8:54 and have the audacity to look at me and say thank you for your patience, god bless. Seriously??? Like i had a choice?? I was making it known as i stared at you for the last 10 min. That i was in fact no longer patient!!!
