Food was good Service was alright But I have a question, since when did they stop giving correct change.. this is the 2nd time when I paid in cash and never got the change.. Visited agin.. Dinner was hot and good Everyone was.happy with their meals and service. Once again, no change.. Woah.. I actually got change this time.. Food was good again. My Service was better.. But the service next to us was outstanding. At the end of the meal I had to ask the table next to us what their waitress name was but he forgot. So at the end I had to ask her. Her name is ZOE. If you go to Olive garden in Lakewood, ask for Zoe. She was awesome and I dont say that often. She went above and beyond her duties. She was patient, polite, tried to accommodate an indecisive young girl, and took about 3 trips to get them the best deal on the food she wanted. It was so nice to hear her explain the different options in the food and then come back and say you get more bang for your buck doing it this way. I would say give her a raise. She even grabbed the dirty dishes from my table( and shot glass) while they sung Happy birthday to my son. Might only go back if she is working and wait for how ever long to sit in her section. It was so refreshing to hear someone actually give outstanding service and care about her customers....
Read moreWe went to olive garden for family dinner night and this waitress was absolutely amazing she offered to dilute babys juice (most ppl at places don't offer that, we have to ask), it was a late dinner for us, and you could see she was exhausted all over her face, but she not once broke the cheerful waitress, she joked with us, was concerned that another table across us who had a baby same age as ours, that was screaming was possibly annoying us (we know how that goes lol) so we left a sizable tip for her because she was truly an amazing waitress, but it was nothing i thought was "too much" either, and this young woman comes out from the kitchen thanking us "because she needed that"..... idk what type of day this young lady had, nor did I ask, but if it's because ppl aren't tipping, or just being plain rotten, don't go out if you can't afford the tip at the end, and stop being so mean (there's enough mean going on without you), these young ladies and gentlemen work very hard to please yous and some of yous can be fairly unpleasant to attempt to please... TIP AND BE NICE, ask yourself if you'd want treated the way you're treating that waitress or waiter before flying off about whatever it may be... GREAT EXPERIENCE, and olive garden better treat that waitress like gold (she's...
Read more1st Time I have ever eaten at an Olive Garden. I didn't know what to expect. I was thinking overhyped chain restaurant going in, but by the time I left I was really surprised. The inside is pretty cool. Not like other restaurants where its just a restaurant. It's themed for Italy. Just walking in it felt kinda fancy. Was told a 10 min wait but we waited maybe 2 mins.
I didn't know what most of the stuff on the menu was but I got the chicken alfredo and it was hands down some of the best food I've had. The chicken was fantastic the sauce was great. Our server was also great. Spoke a little quite but was great. Very attentive and nice. What my ideal waiter would be.
You pay at the table on little machines which was actually neat and I loved I didn't have to wait for someone to take my check or bring it. Saved alot of time. They also have games on them for kids (or adults) to play. I believe you can order food from them as well. Food was on the high side. 20$ plus a person easily. But I couldn't eat all the food I had and I feel it was worth it.
Overall I was blown away by the place and never imagined it to be the way it was. I was very impressed and would highly recommend it. Definitely made a fan out of me. Glad we went here instead of the...
