My boyfriend and I stopped on the way home from a trip to NY and thought we could find a good Vegetarian meal.{Well, I still eat fish at times! lol} But, the sauce on my fish tacos was too HOT, and the cheese upset my tummy{Lactose -Intolerant!} And My boyfriend ordered a Spinach and bean burrito off the side menu. It came with a tomato sauce, that he said "tasted like pizza sauce, with mozzarella cheese thrown on it"! The menu did BOT say it had ANY of that on it! And, when he told the waitress about it, she said the manager wasn't there, so she could "discount it"{only took off a few dollars!} And it should have been taken off COMPLETELY! My boyfriend couldn't even FINISH his meal! He said the cheese sauce-that came with tortilla chips -tasted like it came outta a jar! ☹️ And, so, given the l o n g night I had later at home, and our "personal experience" at the restaurant, I would DEFINITELY give this restaurant a THUMBS DOWN, as NOT being a VERY GOOD Mexican restaurant at ALL!! It's NOT WORTH Your TIME!! DON'T STOP!!!! I mean, if You want Authentic Mexican food, GO To TORREO'S in ERIE, PA!! They have...
Read moreI’ve gone here several times throughout the years and it’s been pretty consistent, both positively and negatively. PROS: •The drinks taste great and are actually pretty strong. •The food all tastes great. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything I thought tasted bad •The atmosphere is nice. They decorated well inside and it looks beautiful
CONS: •I say without exaggeration, that every single time I have been here an order was messed up somehow. My husband refuses to go here because after three separate occasions they could not make tacos they way he asked. All he wanted were plain tacos with only the meat and shell, but they never made it that way for him when he asked.
My friends and I all asked for a small change with our food. I wanted a side of guacamole, one friend wanted no sour cream and the other friend wanted a side of sour cream. None of these things were remembered when our food came out.
•The bathrooms need to be checked on more often. One of the stalls was completely out of...
Read moreWe haven't been in a few years but loved it when they opened. We stopped recently and I was not impressed by the food or prices. My husband and son got a taco salad and there was a literal pool of watery grease in the bottom of their bowls. Meat wasn't very flavorful. I got the Texan fajita and it actually tasted very good. Very flavorful and a huge portion. Server couldn't understand much English, but we were able to work everything out with her. She was very friendly but quick and didn't give our table much attention. I was thrown back a bit when our bill came back and was over $100 for 3 adults and a kids meal. Each soft drink was $4. I asked for a little extra sour cream and it was another $4. A small scoop of avocado was $10. Not impressed with the price of everything compared to the quality. I was confused why they were nearly empty at 5pm....... But I figured out...
