Europa Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Carmel

Europa is a blessing to this town!! I am very picky about Italian food, coming from a Family of Italians, my Beloved Father a Chef, owned a Seafood/Italian Restaurant in Brooklyn - & my Beloved Mom learned everything from my Father. I learned all I know about cooking from both of them - never used a recipe in my life, just observed. The compliments given to me from my Beloved Father were by no means taken for granted, especially my 7 Fish Feast on Christmas Eve. So, that being said, I do have a taste for quality, delicious food & do not eat out much. The 1st time we (my Son & I) tried Europas was during the power outage last year. We had the Grandma Marguerite Pizza. I think they had just opened maybe a month or so before. I was beyond impressed with the taste of the sauce & just the overall quality of the food. Even the crust was delicious!! If I choose to eat out, Europas is definitely our place to go! A very warm, homely atmosphere & the food really is top notch. You will not be disappointed!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! My car is in the repair shop so I just had food delivered. Even the Delivery Driver Mike is so friendly & kind!!! This Restaurant which has it's place in the Shopping Center for some time, and is now under New Management, has kept the front of the house food quality and presentation as the previous Proprietor; as well are improving the the back of the house, in the food preparation, quality, and presentation! I ordered three pies this evening - Two plain cheese and one half BBQ and spicy chicken. They were the worst pizza I have ever eaten. They were so undercooked it was like eating dough and they were crushed all around the perimeter. The sauce on the plain pies were tasteless. The BBQ was like someone poured a bottle of sauce on the chicken and just dumped it onto the pie. I will never order from here again....
