First off this brewery has really good beer and surprisingly good home brewed sodas as well. It also seems to be an Eagles bar/restaurant which is great because there aren’t many of those in the capital region. The problem is that the food is overpriced and the portions are minuscule. During my most recent visit last week I took my friend there who is from Syracuse because they have a great award winning burger. My friend decided to order the cheesesteak. Problem with that meal was that they gave him like a pound of French fries and 2 little rolls that you would get during thanksgiving dinner and filled it with cheesesteak. They claimed they were hoagie rolls but they seemed like something you would get from a kings Hawaiian bag. The rolls must have been 2 to 2-1/2 inches long each. He ordered cheesesteak and fries and he got fries as his main meal with 2 miniature rolls of cheesesteak that wouldn’t satisfy a child. My girlfriend ordered a salad which was also TINY!!!. I ordered I believe it was St. Louis ribs with Mac and cheese and corn bread. I got 2 tiny ribs and a tiny cup of Mac and cheese and a small piece of corn bread that was totally black on the bottom and was a complete brick. These 3 orders and 2 beers with tip was over $100. My one friend was full because of how heavy all the fries were in his stomach but my girlfriend and myself were starving when we left which is ridiculous for spending over $100. Pretty high prices for the food you are getting especially since the meals are so small. I have been there multiple times but I won’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend this brewery to anyone unless you want to go to McDonald’s for dinner after you eat dinner at this brewery. If you do go to Chatham Brewery pay in cash because at least they give you a 4% cash discount. If your food is small and going to suck you might as well get...

I've been a loyal customer of the brewery for several years purchasing at least two 4-packs of their double IPAs every week. The beers are very good and consistent unlike the food. The food is hit and miss. I've had some good meals here. The other day I ordered some food to go and it was terrible. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with a side salad. The chicken sandwich was a joke. It had a couple small chicken tenders on it, a very small amount of lettuce and tomato and normally it has pickles on it but they were non-existent this time. The side salad was disgusting. The greens were all matted together as were the cranberries in the salad and I found it to be inedible. Do the owners care about consistency and the quality of the food being prepared? Also, the online application used to order food is terrible. A couple times when I was trying to order food online, I gave up because the application was so slow. It's a joke. Although I will likely continue to purchase beer I will not order any food from here again. I have a couple friends that had similar experiences. Get it...

We stopped in for dinner after a local theater performance. When we entered there was a funky unpleasant odor that we experienced and made you feel uncomfortable being a food establishment. When we were seated, the table top was badly in need of a refinishing. It actually felt sticky to the touch. Our drink order was taken right away, but the service for the food was a bit slower. We ordered burgers with fries and an order of hot wings as an appetizer. The food was very good with decent portions. I was a little disappointed in the bill. It was a bit pricey for burgers and a beer. With the tip included, the bill totaled $86.00. If you are looking for decent food and a good selection of beers this your place. If you are looking a brewery experience it was a little disappointing. It appears to be more a local pub with little atmosphere, slow service and a place somewhat on the dirty side. We may think the twice about returning. We gave the establishment 3 stars to be fair so it wouldn’t detract from the food and beer quality...

Came here to meet a friend on a Sunday afternoon and although it was very busy we were promptly seated. We were excited to discover several dark beers on the menu including my new favorite vanilla porter (can't wait to get another growler of that!). It was our first time bringing our son and I was thrilled that there were 2 vegetarian kids meal options! He LOVED the mac and cheese. I had the fish fry which was crispy and light (not greasy). Prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious and there were a few other menu items I'm looking forward to trying on our next visit!

Beer was good. Service was off. I love breweries, love hanging out at them. They were clearly miffed that I didn’t “wait to be seated” but walked to the bar. Didn’t help that all 4 servers were in the back corner talking to each other instead of seating patrons. This persisted as I sat at the bar. I attempted to chat with the beer tenders twice (it was me and 3 others sitting at the bar. I was alone.) but they preferred to chat with each other. If you want to have a beer with a friend - give it a try. If you want a brewery experience - I’d pass.
