My wife and I recently visited the Fiesta Cafe in Chatham, NY, and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. From the moment we walked in, the place had this warm, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home.

I ordered the egg sandwich with bacon, and I have to say, it was exceptional. The eggs were cooked just right—light and fluffy—and the bacon was perfectly crispy, adding just the right amount of savory flavor. You could tell everything was made with care and top-notch ingredients. Honestly, it might be the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in years.

My wife went with the French toast, and she couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The bread was thick and perfectly soaked, with a golden-brown finish that gave it a nice texture. It wasn’t overly sweet, which she loved, but it had just the right balance of flavors. She kept saying, “This is exactly how French toast should be.”

On top of the fantastic food, the service was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. By the time we left, we were already talking about when we could come back.

If you’re ever in Chatham—or even if you’re not—it’s worth making the trip to Fiesta Cafe. Great food, great atmosphere, and just an all-around fantastic place to start your day....

This was our first visit to Fiesta Cafe, and we’re already looking forward to returning! Tucked inside a small group of stores on Main St., the cafe offers both indoor and street-side seating, giving you the option to dine in a cozy space or enjoy the open air. Ordering is simple: just choose from the menu on the wall, grab a tabletop number, and the staff will promptly bring out your food and drinks.

The menu is wonderfully creative, with everything served ‘with a Mexican twist.’ We ordered the breakfast tacos and huevos chilaquiles (the latter may have been a special, as it’s not listed on their online menu). Both dishes were packed with flavor and were ample portions. We also had a specialty coffees which were served piping hot.

We sat outside, taking advantage of the lovely weather, which made our experience even better. And I have to mention the staff—they were exceptionally friendly and polite.

All in all, we’re looking forward to...

When this place first opened I went here for lunch three days in a row. And then did the same thing the following week. The people there are so, so nice, and everything I’ve ordered has been off the charts (and that’s a lot of stuff). They have the best tacos in the area, I always get chicken. Their Pozole is absolutely phenomenal. Chicken chile relleno is the best I’ve ever had, and their fajitas are amazing. My friends swear by the cajun shrimp sandwich and steak sandwich (apparently better than in philly). I don’t think you can go wrong. The food is always flavorful and considered, whether it’s a special or something you’re getting for the 5th time cuz it’s that good. There have been many cafe’s in this location throughout the years, this one is without a doubt my favorite.

If you’re ordering around 12-1pm you may want to call in advance as they do...

Came in on a Monday afternoon for lunch and orders the shrimp tacos and the shrimp tostadas and they were amazing! The tostada were a good portion of food and they had fresh avocado on both dishes. The only downside is it took about 15 minutes to get our food after it was ordered(we think their kitchen was understaffed), but the shrimp tasted amazing and has a quality of Mexican food comparable to places in California. Bathroom is unisex, but is clean

Visiting Chatham for a getaway weekend from Queens NY, I was surprised to find an authentic Mexican spot. Growing up with authentic Mexican dishes made at home every day and having plenty of spots around me, I can say the food was amazing. Great service and very quick service at that, small yet cozy space and plenty of options on the menu. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves 😅
