Great local sausage spot! I learned about Hanzlian’s because they are a vendor at the Hamburg farmer’s market. I always am entertained that the sausage vendor seems to be the hot ticket in town at the farmer’s market. If you are there past 9:15 the popular flavors will probably already be sold out.
The sausage is fresh and high quality. During non covid times they will offer samples of their novelty flavors. It’s nice to be able to try something new before buying a bag to take home. The best ones in my opinion are pizza, general tso’s and chorizo patties.
I was in the area recently and thought I should check out the actual brick and mortar location while beating the crowds at the farmers market. The shop is clean, cute and has a lot of variety. Most of the Tops stores carry Hanzlian's Sausage, but I still like to stop at their storefront location at 2351 Genesee Street. There, I purchase other meats and deli products. I can also stock up on Gondola's frozen pastas and Weber's products. You can also pick up their sausage at various local farmer's markets throughout the region. Shop local! A plate of noodles, a piece of cake that was about an inch square and ten to 15 people did not get bread. All that( or a lack of) for $5.00. Two people out of 120 said they would eat this again.
