It’s been a long time since we been here. Place is a little outdated but who really cares if the place is clean and the food and service is great? We had quite the variety. Orange roughy fish fry, roast beef, honey dipped chicken dinners to name a few. All 6 dinners were cooked to perfection. I ordered the pork chop dinner. I started with a Caesars salad and added a cheese pierogi. All side salads and soups were homemade and very tasty. Only disappointment was that the mashed potatoes seemed instant. That was a shame because not counting the applesauce, everything else was homemade from scratch. For those dining here, it’s old school which is a rarity. Hand written bills and cash only. Our waitress for the evening was simply outstanding!

Blend greasy as hell, and soggy as ever, if I could post the video I took you can hear the squishiness of the batter( turn your fryer down your cooking the batter too quick it’s too hot!!!, drain some of the access batter off before frying hence why it’s so wet) salads are just Mayo no seasoning just Mayo 🤦‍♀️ First and last time unfortunately it’s just not worth the money at all, just nasty and a waste. Zero stars

Cool local bar, cash only, four taps, nice atmosphere seems like this place has been here for ever. Juke box with some old classics. Two tv’s in propionate locations, playing hockey or football. Nice leather arm rest all the way around the bar. Not much more to ask for. I’m sure there aren’t many places like this left around, worth a stop.

Went for a funeral lunch recently and by the time we got to the reception everyone was hungry. Venue could use some updating from late 80s early 90s. Service was very good. Very attentive to needs and thats where the positives end. 8$ for a pitcher of pop when you have 11 tables is ridiculous. You wouldn't have just one so you want me to believe someone would pay almost 200$ for pop? Coffee was served before the meal but not after? Onto the main course. The obviously packaged dinner rolls weren't even separated before going into the baskets. I don't eat salad but apparently that was a highlight but I'm assuming it was packaged as well due to the uniformity of everything. Mashed potaotes were clearly powered to begin with (Bringing back the memories of KFC) speaking of the fried chicken, it was soggy on the outisde and dry on the inside. The seasoning was good. The carrots, not one person could figure out the flavor besides that taste in the back of your mouth before you're sick. The roast beef was very thin and dry and rubbery. As I mentioned by that point in the day, calories were needed so everyone ate. Venue was booked via Googling proximity and when it was mentioned why are they totally empty on a Saturday when everywhere is booked, should have been a clue. I hear that the restaurant across parking lot has good food, however the banquet was not. If left with a choice, pass. All inclusive it was not worth almost 20$pp. The one saving grace was...

I recently had my daughters baby shower here. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! We were given an estimate of close to $1000 when we booked it. The day before the shower, they tacked on ANOTHER $933 ..IT WASNT LIKE I COULDVE CANCELED IT! ALL OUR INVITES WERE OUT AND THE HEAD COUNT WAS IN! THE table cloths were WORN. IT WAS EMBARRASSING! The food Was OK. Nothing great. I dont think they used any spices. It tasted blah...plain. The service was OK. ** when we went to.look at the place, we never were given a choice of which room to choose from. He only showed us one room. At that point, I wasn't aware of the other rooms. I feel we were put on the spot and were forced to pay such a high price. Literally! I want a refund!!

Nothing to write home about. OVERALL, IT WASNT WORTH NO $1900! FOR A FEW HOURS. PLUS, ALL TGE DECORATIONS WE HAD TO PROVIDE OURSELVES. IF IT WASNT THE DAY BEFORE, I WOULDVE CANCELED AND HAD IT SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR $150. NOBODY there was impressed! I'll never book anything here again. I called and left 3 messages already and have NOT received a...
