Okay so this is going to come off as a terrible complaint but id rather put the criticism out there so it can hopefully improve in the future. It's such a cute place and my coworkers and i really wanted to like it but the food and coffee just weren't good at all both times we ordered. The coffees weren't that flavorful (more on the bland side). The bagel sandwich was burned on one side which left that icky burnt taste in your mouth and barely looked like the picture online where you order (all the ingredients were pushed to the side of the bagel and were pretty small, the one online looked a lot more full). The English muffin sandwich was good but the sausage looked odd, like almost fake? Maybe they put the vegan one on it? I dont know lol but it did taste good either way, just different than expected. The brownie is okay, it's a great size but quite a bit of frosting. We ordered the chocolate chip cookies which showed it comes with 2 of them but we only received one and honestly that's okay because it was pretty hard to eat. The lemon blueberry scone wasn't the best either. Something was just off about it. It was pretty disappointing as we were excited and bummed the first time, but wanted to give a second try in hopes of it just being a doozy the first time. There is the one wrap with the jalapeño tortilla and that was honestly good and super filling! The French fries though... omg they're the one item that I will keep going back for because they are perfect! Please don't change those. Perfect consistency of crunchy and salty but not too dry. Those were devoured by everyone very quickly lol! We may try again in the future to see if it has changed at all, I'm hoping it was just a coincidence but I really think this place has potential, but just not fitting the...
Read moreIn our search for a great coffee shop where locals go, we found this amazing place. We started our morning en route to Niagara falls and had a great start to our morning here. Here is the summary of our experience there:
Ambiance 5/5: The place looks bright and inviting with contemporary colors and a great seating area. We could also see a drive-through and an driving range on the outside near the backdoor which would be a fun day to sip coffee and enjoy driving.
Service 5/5: The front desk was super helpful and patient with our requests and answered all our questions delightfully. They have a great menu and their service was fast and prompt as well.
Food 5/5: Early morning we had a rich breakfast and coffee:
a) The pumpkin spice latte was delicious with a great pumpkin taste. b) The egg wrap was filling with greens and protein and great in taste.
Overall, please visit this place if you want to have a great experience and see where the locals have their coffee. Must visit this place if you like breakfast and coffee
The Good:
Not so good:
Nothing that I can think of
Update: They have a driving range and are seasonally open to golfers...
Read moreBatch is such a gem in the Chenango neck of the woods. The coffee is good, the specialty drinks are sweet without being sickening, the staff is so friendly, and the bagel sandwich is delicious. I highly recommend getting the bagel sandwich with a cheddar bagel (don’t y’all sell out their cheddar bagels now!!). This would so be a 5 star review if they didn’t just get rid of their best menu item…the hashbrowns. These hashbrowns changed my life. I would donate my left foot if I could have free Batch hashbrowns for the rest of my life. I’ve raved about them to all of my friends, family, and coworkers. I’d spend my last dime on those little salty, crispy pieces of heaven. But now they’re just like the little Dunkin circle hashies. I’m heartbroken, devastated, crushed, gutted, and gagged. Please bring them back!! Also bring back the American cheese.
Anyway, everyone go check out Batch because they’re awesome. Amazing drinks and bites. I love...
