Napoli's Pizza & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

The ONLY time I can ever be bothered to write a review is when something is either really good or really bad. Now the food I ate tonight. PERFECT. I thought I’d found my “favorite pizzeria” until tonight. I decided to try something new so I ordered the Grandma Pie, Garlic Knots, and my boyfriend wanted Zeppoles. First off, seeing my pizza - and the small. Omg it looked so good! I loved how it didn’t flop, it was firm and had a very nice crust. Deep dish but not too doughy. The crushed tomato’s were incredible, the sauce, everything taste absolutely amazing. The garlic knots were great! Not overly oily like practically everywhere else… It all tasted fresh, especially the tomato’s. I usually don’t like tomato’s but wow. I’m in love. My boyfriend loved the his dessert as well. 2nd time ordering. First time was OK, but wasn't a 5star so gave another chance. This time order was called in, but when we came to pickup 30 minutes later apparently only 1 pie (reg large cheese) was ready. The Grandma's pie was not ready. We waited 20 more minutes for our pie to be ready which was 50 minutes from our original order. I can understand if things were very busy, but we watched at least 6 other orders come after us and leave before us. And it's strange that I saw a Grandma's pie get picked up just when we first arrived. It's ashame, the staff were nice and it's a local business, but it felt like our time was not appreciated and we were not valued as a customer. The cheese pie received was cold and the Grandma's was not...

Five star pizza! Ive had all kinds of pizza from Dave Portnoy reviewed, to all of the best places in the NYC metro area. This is one of the best, right in my neighborhood! Regular pie has great flavor. Sauce tastes like the perfect tomato, more on the sweeter side, and not to tart. The sauce flavor overpowers the cheese so it's hard to comment on that, but it has a nice cheese skin. The crust is cooked perfectly! Almost underdone but, cooked. The crust is so good, you can eat it by itself!

The staff are always polite and friendly!

Can't go wrong here. Only problem is that they close to early...
