Diving area is well monitored as is the slide but is pretty much a hangout for the kids. The splash pool small and has one water feature. The pool is large and always monitored by lifeguards who do train daily for an emergency. Limited areas for shade exist and the few trees that are there do not have dense foliage. Food service is what would be expected with limited options beyond the standards - hot dogs, pizza, burgers, fries, ice cream. Bathrooms/showers are gender specific and while large feel dark and damp. The price to get in even for residents is high, visitors is extremely expensive. If given a choice would probably pick one of the other options in Clarkstown or skip...
Read morehonestly, the pool was alright. However, the staff weren’t. The staff at the entrance were NOT friendly at all! Especially the lifeguards. There was this one lifeguard that didn’t let ANY of the families have a good time. At one point, we let one of the children go underwater and try and hold their breath, and the lifeguard reprimanded us for it! If the child couldn’t hold their breath, then he would just come right back up, no worries. Basically, you couldn’t even breathe without her saying something....
