First let me just say I like Deli Martinis very much the quality is good but I do think they're a little pricey. Pricey to the point I choose on what day I can go there and get some lunch because a basic lunch of a sandwich and a drink easily equals out to $11 or $12. I can't afford that every day for lunch. As far as customer service goes there are typically 3 ladies, two younger and a middle age lady. I have to say the two younger ladies are very pleasant fast and efficient. As far as the third lady she is about middle age seems pleasant but can really work on her customer service skills! I went there today for a sandwich I was craving and I specifically mentioned for them to add mayo and mustard to my tuna. So I double check my order and notice my tuna looked dry so I opened my sandwich and kindly ask for them to spread some mayo on it. Do you know the middle age lady comes out of no where like she is embarrassed and says I can give you a mayo to go as she sees my sandwich is face open and all it needs is a spread of mayo. The younger lady that made my sandwich kindly came over and spread mayo on my sandwich. Mean while the older lady is still insisting that next time I get mayo to go. And I told her no I will not do that. Because when I get to my destination I don't have time to fix my sandwich I would just like to sit down and eat it. Like jeez is not a big deal my sandwich wasn't to my liking I pay them to make me a sandwich for me and not for me to have to to fix it later when it can be takem care of right then and there. Very simple. I hope they do something about her. She almost ruined my lunch...
Read moreThe staff was friendly, and the prices were as expected. I work around the corner from this place. Sadly, though, today was the first and last time I will be getting lunch from here. I ordered a cuban sandwich and the bread was so stale, it was like eating a rotting plywood door; it literally sounded like wood when i knocked on it with my knuckles. I tried to eat it anyway because I needed to eat something for lunch, and didnt have time to take the sandwich back, but the ham tasted like it was expired... I had high hopes for this place based on other reviews. I usually get lunch from JC's Deli if I dont bring anything to work with me, and this experience solidified that JC's will remain my regular lunch spot hereafter, and I cannot...
Read moreJust went to Martinis Deli, I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. I did notice that they could only make them one at a time, no problem, I don't mind waiting when something is being prepared. After one sandwich was made, another customer walked in and ordered a breakfast sandwich. So the young lady decided to make his first instead of completing my order. A few minutes later he was out the door while I was still sitting there waiting for 2 of my sandwiches to be made. A little advice, take care of customers in order. It is not right when someone walks in after you and you put them in front of someone who already paid and left a tip. Not good...
