Footie's Freez — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandville

EDITED No longer worth stopping at. This used to be our favorite place for ice cream & the past couple of years has gone downhill so fast.

The menu is a mess, every few weeks more flavors are removed. Even just from the soft serve list, flavors such as lemon, coconut, green mint, malted milk and others are now gone. And, its not uncommon for flavors listed on the menu to not be available ( oh, cake batter? Yea. We’re out again).

There’s just little reason to make it a point to come here anymore.

Previous, 2016 Review below- About 40 selections of soft-serve ice cream; such as strawberry, lemon, blueberry, mint, kiwi, watermelon, peach, etc. The soft serve flavors cannot be mixed (no orange-vanilla) and only come in one size; but they're still well worth trying.

There's also a number of hard ice cream selections, sundae's, that sort of thing.

Prices aren't too bad, 2 people would cost about 8...

Not entirely sure who the irrate, inappropriate and disrespectful man was at Footies last night but he was clearly unbalanced and has mental health issues. I would like to apologize to the staff member who has to deal with someone who was this unstable about having to wear a mask, called the staff members Nazis and sheep because they would not hand him his ice cream cone, and tried putting his hand into the window towards a staff member creating a scene and an unsafe situation for all staff members working last night. Please always know that this ice cream stand has the best interest of it's it's employees and patrons at hand. You will always get a five star rating from me after seeing how you had to deal with abusive people when just trying to make people happy with a treat...

I don't think it's fair when someone is allowed to give a rating of a one 3 times! This Mike guy was mad because they put his cone in a dish so no one working has to touch it for his own safety. He completely lost his marbles over it. HE SAID they were Nazis, red coat, white coats. The worker shut the window and he slammed it back open saying he wasn't done yet and continued to yell at the worker. All because his poor ice cream was put in a dish that he could pick up right away with the cone! But in all reality everyone knows Footies is the best ice cream around! So Mike go pound...
