Griffin's Market — Restaurant in Town of Coxsackie

2019: Always good food. Pizza is great and affordable. We love the paninis and they occasionally have good dessert choices. Sometimes at lunch rush they take longer or make mistakes but it hasn't stopped us from ordering here.

November 2024: Griffins is an awesome hometown deli. It’s always busy and bustling there. On occasion they have messed up our order but they’re usually pretty good with making it right. Most of the staff are friendly and cheerful, ready to take your order. The pizza is always delicious, and perfect for a large party or gathering. Sandwhiches have quality meat on them and they don’t skimp on the amount. Some items are priced on the higher end but it is competitive to the area and I’m willing to spend the extra to support local. Definitely recommend the soup specials, speciality pizza slices and the paninis! Great...

Food is decent BUT customer service is AWFUL. Called in an order an hour before the lunch rush was told it would take 30-40 min for 3 cold subs. Showed up about 5 min before order time just to get chips and drinks but nothing was ready. While waiting for the order, one worker was loudly complaining about customers showing up early that the entire place to hear. To top it off another customer came in about 5 min after me placed an order for a sandwich at the counter and his order was done before my call in order was ready. This places makes it so hard to keep going back but it is the only decent sandwich place in the area so...

We were very regular customers at Griffins, often ordering food 3+ times per wk. The atmosphere has changed now, the customer service is terrible. The wait times are often double what you're told when ordering, but the biggest issue, has been hair in the food. I dont mean 1 single hair, i mean a ball of hair, like you mite find in the vacuum. That was enough for me to boycott ...but my family gave them a couple more chances before another event with several long hairs in the food.
