It’s a retail shop, but they do serve lunch Monday to Friday from 11 - 1:30 pm. I had the meatball sub with fresh mozzarella and basil for $11, which was delicious. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned, and the semolina bun held up well to the sauce and heat. They make different fresh raviolis on a rotating daily schedule. You can find their pastas in many local farm stands and weekend farmer’s markets. The owner Steve helped build Sfoglini Pasta for more than 10 years as their pasta-maker-in-chief.

call me crazy, but I thought that this box I bought, which has a picture of ravioli on the front and has the word ravioli on it, would actually be ravioli. But it was not. The papadelle inside was incredibly delicious, and I assume the ravioli is as well. But the graphic design is a disaster.

Products are good quality and it's nice to have this business in the area hence the 4 stars but they are VERY expensive. $11 for a box of about 10 small ravioli? I was shocked. Come on... this is price gouging. Same for everything else they carry. Very small portions and sizes that do not warrant the price tag. I want to support local but paying more for less is not in the cards. Anyone who has roots in NYC knows you can walk into any quality Italian market in the Boroughs and get a fresh box of store made, large, properly sized ravioli for around $7 at about 16 count a box. Do the math. It's unfortunate because I'd love to buy local but until something changes I'll stick with stocking up downstate when visiting. Greene County is getting way...

We were tipped off that Via Ravioli was the perfect spot just off the NY Thruway for an excellent lunch. This is primarily the retail store for a family-run ravioli business. Chef Steve is at the helm making homemade sauces and ravioli as the star. At lunch they have a ravioli special, meatball sub (with his sublime meatballs or a salad. Each was so delicious we took home three cartons of ravioli and sauce as well as garlic bread. This will be a permanent stop for us when going from Albany...
