Used to go here as a regular. Overall great food. However, Saturday night I stopped by after work for a quick bite. I order my usual; a slice of pizza, a drink, and a garlic knot. Pretty basic. I paid the lady and collected my change, not even paying attention to what I was charged. I didn't receive a receipt either. I recently was counting money for budgeting and realized that they had charged me over $15 for my meal. (According to one of their staff it was supposed to come out to around $6. I called ahead and asked if anything could be done. They said possibly if I had the receipt, and even if I didn't that maybe they could figure something out. I drive there and talk to one of the staff about the issue and he seems pretty irritated and disbelieving of me. At this point, I didn't want any free food or even a refund for that matter, just to make sure that that's where my money had gone. He checks the receipts and nothing can be done. He informs me that I can speak with the boss the next day, which I could not do due to working all day. I leave and put it behind me. I drive to the Dunkin' Donuts to get a coffee when I get a call from Nick's on my phone. I pick it up, hoping they found the receipt. Instead, I am greeted to the staff member that tried to find my receipt calling me a thief and to not try that again. He blatantly lies, stating that he made me a calzone Saturday night, which I sure as hell didn't have. I politely told him that accusing his customers of attempted thievery isn't how you keep customers and how he lost a devoted regular. If you're looking for competent and polite staff, steer...
Read moreThe food is ok, I use to eat lunch here a few times a week, and get take out at least 1 night a week. I worked right on the corner of Molloy and Thompson, so it was right down the road. Mostly it was good, one time we ordered and got a terrible pizza that was undercooked and sloppy and called to complain and got nothing but an attitude. Then I went in with the pizza and spoke with the manager and owner, the latter being I think Nick...first the manager insulted me and when I said I come in all the time, he said he has never saw me and I was lying. Then the owner Nick, who knew me by first name and regularly commented I was one of his best customers, didn't say anything to set him right. He refused a replacement pizza or refund, and said in the future I could go somewhere else. And I quote "There are lots of pizza places around you know" and so I don't generally go to Nicks Pizza anymore...also another time I recall Nick telling my friend "maybe you should come a different day and order" and he always was giving people an attitude because we would order on Monday when the pizzas had a special...just a petty scumbag, treats employees like dirt. I would go out of my way to not go here, especially with East Wok next door...Nicks also owns Jreck Subs next door, so thats why it is so terrible. Really though, with Twin Trees and Pavones on this side of town you have no reason to go to Nicks to be treated like dirt. Thanks...
Read moreThis has to be the worse pizza shop I have ever ordered from.... Ever!!!!!! They made my entire order wrong and tried argued with me about. I ask for honey barbecue chargrilled wings but they gave me regular fried soggy wings with barbecue sauce on them. I also ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza but received a dry pizza with only cheese, bacon and chicken NO RANCH JUST DRY!!!!!. Terrible customer service at its best!!!!! I should of stuck to what I know and love, âFrancoâsâ has the best chicken, bacon ranch pizza in town and âOIPâ has the best honey garlic wings!!! Theyâre always delicious and never disappoints. Even Dominoes have better customer service than Nickâs. Wonât be ordering...
