Wow, the Salsa Toast is to die for. High quality toast, house guac, salsa, micro sprouts, pickled red onion; $7.50. That one is worth the price. The pecan/hummus wrap is great! Some of the house drinks r similar to ones at some grocery stores but cost twice as much. However, they are more fresh and likely contain more nutrients/not heat treated or anything I assume. Edit* The specialty drink (ex: BOLT) is amazing with good ingredients, lions mane, blue spirulina, rhodiola rosea, ashwagandha etc, but it doesn't list caffeine content. It tastes like a healthy preworkout with better ingredients. Also, the SoCure elderberry tonic says it contains lions mane on the website. However they maybe switched brands/didn't update website and its called Terravee naturals elderberry syrup. Edit* (I must of just received the wrong drink, no biggie) It tastes great, but I wouldn't of bought it if I knew that it didn't come with lions mane extract. Edit* The elderberry syrup drinks actually r so concentrated that one serving is only 1-2 tsp so its worth the price. Some of the menu items can be found at Hyvee sometimes which is a cool partnership. Left a tip, but overall, good experience. Place is hard to find if you haven't been there b4. Small sign. Still a 5 star experience. Nothing is perfect in the world anyways. Fantastic idea...
Read moreOh my gosh! oh my gosh! oh my gosh! If I could write this higher than five stars for a restaurant in Eau Claire, I would!! This, reminds me of the healthy choices that one finds out in California. Everything is so fresh. I love the choice of quinoa for fiber and it’s nice to have healthy choices that are affordable. The restaurant was clean. It’s on beautiful Water Street, just off the walking/bike trail and near the University! I was going to order a açaí bowl and asked the chef what he suggested and he lead me in the right direction; I got their special called The Hercules, in a bowl. The menu is easy to order off of you have a choice of a wrap, a sandwich, or a bowl - plus choice of protein. Eau Claire is lucky to have Fast Fuel as a choice. I also like their protein...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about this place. I haven’t had a single item that I did not entirely enjoy. The quality is unmatched for freshness and the variety is wonderful. My first time visiting Dakota was super helpful and patient, taking the time to answer any questions I had.
A couple people have approached me about the cost, and honestly for what you’re getting it’s totally worth it and quite reasonable. I can read every single ingredient on the package, and the list isn’t a mile long.
I highly recommend checking them out. I go out of my way to grab a juice and a bite to eat...
