Stewart's Shops — Restaurant in Town of East Fishkill

I used to live near this shop and always visited for gas and ice cream. I had moved away. Today, 8/20/23 at 9:23pm, my partner and I where driving through the area so I told him about Stewart’s ice cream. We went inside to get ice cream, the lady was so rude and disrespectful towards us that we paid for the ice but refused to eat it and left it. I didn’t know Stewart’s employees were so racist. I say this because the treatment this lady gave my partner and I was not what we saw done to other customers. I am really disappointed for such a horrible experience from Stewart’s. I will not be attending any of Stewart’s franchise or recommend...

John in the wappingers location off of Rt.376, needs to be retrained on how to cook meals. He washed his hands put on gloves but then while gloves are on he touches red bulls that were on the counter, then proceeds to prep food with the same gloves on, then takes the wrapper from the wraps throws the in the trash (gloves touching the lid to the garage), takes food out of mircowave then touches food with the same gloves. Smh. They should not throw away anything until food prep is completed. That's nasty. And this is with someone watching, imagine when there is no one watching...

I feel bad because the store seems to be short staffed and management is doing their best with what they can. I would say hire more staff but who wants to work right now. I am not sure if there is away to hire new staff that won’t bail out within the first week or two. I see that happening and I feel bad.

Everyone seems to be happy and friendly even with being short staffed. The store is always clean. The store is always well stocked for there to be shortages going on...
