Hudson Valley Gyro GRILL & Market — Restaurant in Town of East Fishkill

I've recently eaten here twice for lunch. This is a very nice local place for lunch or an informal dinner. The atmosphere is simple, clean, inviting, but not fancy. The food is authentic Greek, fresh and expertly prepared. Service was excellent and professional. They offer take-out, counter and table service. We sat at a table and enjoyed a relaxing flavorful meal. The Hand Cut Greek Fries were an amazing change from the bland fast food fries served at most other places. No catsup needed with these since they are served with a mound of feta cheese and plenty of tzatziki sauce for dipping. The Traditional Gyro sandwich is heaping with meat and fresh veggies deliciously wrapped in a soft pita bread with more of the wonderful sauce. Wow what a nice luncheon treat! My wife and I have had their food on numerous occasions and continue to experience different culinary specialties each time . We have been to Greece twice and have to say that the owner Paul has managed to bring the taste of Greece right here to Hopewell Jct NY . My girlfriend and I always drive by when we go to each other houses we decided to stop by today and try some Gyro's. I've only ever had Gyro's a few times before and by all means is this the best gyro's i've had publically. The woman behind the counter was so kind and sweet. She threw in a special treat.
