Srisiam — Restaurant in Town of East Greenbush

I tried to make an online order, and when I got to the part where you enter your payment information, it said that my card was invalid and that I needed to resubmit it. So I did resubmit my number. The website charged my bank twice. When I called the restaurant, they told me that I never had an order. I tried to explain what happened but they kept talking over me. I ended up calling the bank and the bank said that I would have to dispute the charge which would take 60 to 90 days. They told me that I can call the restaurant to get a refund. The restaurant has no record of me ordering anything so they refused to help me so then I called back to the restaurant and they said that they would have to deal with it at the end of the day because they were too busy right now. My orders were $130 each and so I have $260 out of my bank account and the restaurant does not want to help me. I will not order from them again. If I could give Sri Siam more than five stars, I would. This restaurant serves the best Thai food I have ever had. All of their items are excellent. I have tried so many fantastic dishes. However, when I go I always get tom kah and chicken penang curry. The tom kah is perfectly balanced, from its spices and flavors to the presentation. It is served in an adequate amount for one or two people. I also love their chicken penang curry. It is served in a wide bowl. It is always the perfect temperature for you to eat it the moment you get it. The curry has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The chicken is also cooked and cut well. The service has been slow, but very rarely. The staff is very pleasant and the owner is always nice to me. Sri Siam is my favorite...

We are newly loyal customers at Srisiam. We are not well versed in Thai food but after coming here we don't have to try anywhere else. The inside is beautiful and simple, the wait staff is so friendly and very professional, and the food is delicious. Prices feel a tiny bit expensive but completely reasonable given the quality of their dishes and skill needed to prepare them. Our favorites are any of the crispy duck dishes, the lemon iced tea (try this, its SO good!!), the chicken wings and currys.

We've brought our parents as a Christmas gift and it is their new favorite restaurant and said it was the best gift (very high praise from them). They have already asked for gift cards for future present ideas.
