Pizza My Love Inc — Restaurant in Town of East Greenbush

I normally love Pizza My Love. However, tonight I find myself seriously contemplating whether they will ever get my business again. I placed a phone order for two calzones that my husband picked up. While my husband's was correct, mine was not made correctly (ordered pepperoni and mushroom, received pepperoni and sausage). I called to inform them of the mistake and the man that answers the phone confirms with the pizza maker that it had been made incorrectly. He asks if I want it. I tell him no, I'd like the one I ordered. He says ok and that he'd make another and it'd be ready in 10 minutes for me to pick up. I found it rude that he didn't offer to have his driver deliver but I also didn't ask so not the biggest deal. I drive the 10 minutes back and when I arrive he asks me if I brought the incorrect one with me, which I had not and had not been instructed to. I know this because we would have had this discussion over the phone when I called. Anyway, he proceeds to go on about how he wanted proof of the mistake and that if I didn't want it, I should have brought it back. Mind you, he confirmed it was made incorrectly while i was on the phone! Irritated by this, I address the fact that I had to use my own gasoline to drive back to fix their mistake. He then tosses the calzone on the counter and says "well next time you know, ok?" Excuse me?!? Rather than apologizing for my inconvenience caused by your mistake, you're setting expectations for ME for the next time you make a mistake? Maybe I'm old fashioned (I'm 39 so who knows what that's considered) but this can't be what passes for acceptable customer service. Pizza My Love has great pizza but maybe it's time to revisit customer...

I ordered a pizza for takeout was and told to arrive in 20 minutes. After a half hour to pick up dinner for my wife and I, apparently they didn't even bother to start my pizza then asks me to wait another 15 minutes and if thats OK. Seriously? Is there THAT much incompetence when the owner isn’t there or was everyone just stoned? and not even an offer for a discount. The worst part was had my order was in their computer. 3 of them walking around scratching their heads and not one of them could make a simple pizza. And it’s too bad because I (used to) go there several times a month. The food is great but i will not be...

The owner / lead pizza engineer is usually present at the store and is among the most hospitable folks in the pizza industry. Ask him about his pizza, you’ll hear the passion immediately! Eat the pizza, you’ll feel it too!

They’ve got a customer-first mentality and homely atmosphere.

Next, their appetizers are top-notch! Try the garlic knots, the french fries, and the wings (I don’t eat meat, but every meat-eater I’ve shared them with have devoured them.

Pizza My Love is THE NAME in East Greenbush Pizza and is by far one of the best pizza spots in Upstate New York!
