These are my favorite restaurants in the Hamptons to enjoy some great food with even better scenery! The spots: ☀️ @duryeasmontauk the most stunning views & delicious seafood! ☀️ @sisirestaurant a more lively spot in east hampton that’s great during sunset! Must order their mezze. ☀️ @ilbucoalmare I actually prefer this to the Il Buco in nyc. Their food is phenomenal! ☀️ @carissasthebakery my favorite bakery in the Hamptons. The design is stunning & the food is delicious! ☀️ @calissahamptons a great option for Greek food in watermill! A gorgeous outdoor setup & they have a djs on weekends which makes it a very fun spot ☀️ @mobysny a great vibe in east hampton! Love sitting outside in their backyard! ☀️ @santambroeus a hamptons classic! This is my go-to for coffee in Southampton town! #hamptons #thehamptons #summer #montauk #hamptonsrestaurants #hamptonsfood #lobster #lobsterroll #foodiesinternationalchat #globaleats

I recently dined at Moby’s for the first time and was really disappointed. First off, the service was very slow, taking our waitress over 15 minutes to even come over to our table, and was slow for the remainder of the night. And I don’t recommend eating in the outdoor areas. One is an ugly poorly lit covered patio and the other true outdoor area has a hideous wedding and catering tent up for most of summer. On the food, the only dishes I actually liked was the rigatoni and kale Caesar (which I’d recommend). Every other dish was either undercooked (broccolini for $25), lacked flavor (chicken and steak $40 each) or just bad (pizza for $30 - it tasted like a microwave pizza and the dough was actually bad). In short, if you had a group of 6-8 friends and wanted a high energy vibe with decent food, I’d recommend.

I was severely disappointed by experience here. Although there was one server working who was exceptional and seemed to be taking on her coworkers tasks, our server was horrible. I felt so disrespected, he had us wait over an hour to get our check. No food on the table, nothing. The last time he spoke with us was to ask if we wanted dessert and then completely ignored us. We asked the one good server if she could get his attention, and after she spoke to him, it still took another 15 minutes. I mean, I dont understand how you can treat patrons so badly, when they are spending money at your establishment that is costing $30 for a small pizza. The pizza did taste good though, we had the cacio y Pepe. The spaghetti was okay. Tasted of butter and herb but lacked depth.

It pains me to be a tattle tale , but YOU need to read this before you make a decision to spend your evening at this place. The restaurant is nice looking , it’s clean , nice vibe , nice outdoor area. The service is the absolute worst, let me repeat , the worst. The pizza is undercooked , it may appear to have that “well done crisp”, but don’t be fooled, it’s undercooked with a thick sauce that is so acidic, it reminded me of a Dominos Pizza sauce. This is the best part , the yellow beat salad…they cut corners and pre make it. I ordered it , it was out in no exaggeration , 1 minute or less, the plate was ice cold, the sauce was frozen and discolored, it was made earlier and they must stack them in the fridge (like a catering hall) and just hand it out when it’s ordered. I told the manager (who knew exactly what I was talking about as he proceeded to tell me the cooks like to save time ) , I explained to him that I just want a fresh one, with that being said , it never came out. We ordered the Bronzino for 2 for 88 dollars , it wasn’t bad at all, nice flavor , it was fresh, but it was more like a Bronzino for 1/2 a person. Took 30 minutes to get a drink which we ordered the minute we sat. I was so irritated, the server was no where to be found after he took our order except when he brought the bill over. He didn’t know why the “beet salad” was taken off the bill, he told me it was taken care of, like they were doing me a favor. 180 dollars for a terrible dinner and experience , oh wait, 190 dollars , forgot the 6 % percent tip I left him. Let it be noted , I’m not the only one who was having a crappy experience , I saw the manager being berated by other patrons. Think twice before you dine here , if you want a nice restaurant with mediocre food and awful service , this...

I wish I could give this spot a better review just for its outdoor patio setup, which is incredibly beautiful and perfect for 2020’s socially distanced summer. There are string lights all around, endless numbers of giant picnic tables that fit groups up to 10 spaced out across the backyard, and a few indoor covered tables too. However, the food portion sizes and value for the prices is a big drawback that almost ruins the amazing ambiance. We had a reservation for a group of 10 through Resy/email coordination with the restaurant (which worked out great), and were required to do the prix fixe group price of $65 or $85 per person. See photo, the main difference is that 85 includes pizza+1 additional app plate and 65 doesn’t. Alcohol and tax and tip not included in those prices either. We assumed at a price of $85 per person that we’d get tons of food, especially since it’s all served family style, but we were all super disappointed. We got 1 tiny plate of each appetizer on the menu (e.g., 1 plate of bread, 1 plate of ricotta), and 3 tiny pizzas that provided 1 small slice of pizza per person total, then 2 plates per entree (so 2 small bowls of pasta to share amongst 10 of us, and 2 small chicken breasts to split 10 ways). There were no additional refills or plates brought out after the two courses even when we finished everything. For a group of 10 adults, the portion sizes for the price (for average tasting food) were borderline ridiculous.

Summary: We absolutely loved the outdoor setting but wouldn’t come back due to the small portions of family style at crazy high prices for group dinners. I hope the staff can figure out a way to make this a better experience for larger parties...

This place will tempt a good person to dine and dash. They were deceitful, foul-mouthed, and held us hostage for 3.5 hrs due to slow service. We mistakenly made a reservation for the wrong date, but they told us not to worry & that we would be seated in '10 minutes'. Only after we threated to leave after 1.25 hours of repeatedly being told '10 mins', we were sat.

The food did not come until ~2 hours after ordering. During this wait, we were constantly told, 'the food will be out in 10 minutes,' whenever we asked for the check to leave. They have no problem lying to you.

When the food finally arrived, we immediately asked for the check for the 5th time. Instead of providing it, they sent 'free ice cream,' further delaying our departure. We were effectively held hostage and not allowed to pay and leave at the 3.5+ hour mark.

When I politely asked for a discount due to the delays that made us miss other plans, the manager, Em, made fun of me, mocking our reservation error by saying, "Did you make plans for tonight or next month?" This comment was uncalled for and deeply embarrassing for the establishment.

This experience is not unique. Multiple reviews cite similar complaints about deceptive wait times and feeling trapped. This practice is inexcusable. The restaurant needs to be honest with customers about wait times, promptly provide the check when requested, and stop using tactics that hold customers...
