Sushi Village Fishkill — Restaurant in Town of Fishkill

I ordered chicken teriyaki and a Bubble Tea online and got it delivered via Uber Eats. I love the Sushi Village in Poughkeepsie, it’s one of my favorite places for chicken teriyaki so I figured Fishkill wouldn’t be that far off. However, this is the worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. The chicken has a lot of veins and tasted like it was reheated or microwaved. It looks like it was ripped apart - it wasn’t even cut properly. $20 after tax for just the chicken alone! I don’t mind spending $20 on chicken if the food is good, but it was terrible. The rice is soggy and mushy like it was cooked too long. I ordered this lunch meal to be delivered because I’m busy at work or I would have taken it back. Buyer Beware! Don't waste your money! My son and his friends have sushi together quite frequently. They decided try Sushi Villages all you can eat for $24.95. The bill came to $42. The all you can eat comes with strict rules. One of which is the cost of not eating everything on your plate. They were charged for any sushi still on their plate that they did not eat. $10 per roll left; more than their average 5pc roll cost. Note they are not allowed to take home leftovers. To add insult to injury they included a 20% tip; there were only 3 of them. Needless to say they will not be returning to this restaurant and neither will I. They took advantage of these young men. The sushi is just all right and there are much better options...

I have eaten here twice. First time the food was mediocre and decent service, so figured I would give it another chance. I came back for lunch and the food was VERY sub par for a sushi place. The salmon and tuna had no flavor, the bbq squid was fishy and chewy, and everything else was just average at best. The worst part was the service. The sushi chef was touching his cell phone with the gloves on he was using to prepare the food. Also, as I was waiting for either a server to come bring me another menu or to see if I wanted the check, the server and several staff were sitting at a table eating and ignoring the tables.
