I visit the fort Edward McDonald’s frequently. My food is almost always hard or dry and more often than not I’m missing items. But it’s a fast paced food service location and they are humans so mistakes can be made. I typically just go on with my day. A couple days ago however I experienced the worst visit I’ve had at any food service establishment I’ve visited. The lady who cashed me out ( a manager ) was wearing gloves. That had me a little concerned so I watched her to make sure she changed them, but she didn’t. I watched her walk over to the food line and start preparing food. I waited for the guy to bring me my food and informed him that the lady did not change her gloves. Acting concerned he told me he’d go talk to her. Once he came back he said she told him she changed her gloves and that because there were no cameras pointing in that general direction and no proof that he’d have to believe her over me. I was completely shocked, not only did he basically call me a liar absolutely nothing was done. So I said ok, not wanting to cause a scene and left. Once I got home I put in a complaint on the app and today I got a call back. The lady on the phone told me that the store manager checked the cameras and that she changed her gloves. I watched the lady walk straight to the food line and start preparing food right after cashing me out, there is no way she did. I was also told there wasn’t a camera pointed in that direction by the employee that I talked to so what cameras did they check? I know what I saw, and not only is not changing gloves gross it contaminates food and can cause food borne illness. I caution anyone who goes to this location please watch and make sure they change there gloves before making your food. I don’t want anyone to go...
Read moreWalking into this McDonald’s restroom was like stepping through a dimensional rift — from burger heaven to an oddly mysterious, modern bathroom that felt like a secret back room behind the grill. The smell of fresh burgers wafted in, which honestly wasn’t a bad start.
The floor? Immaculate. Shiny, spotless, and surprisingly elegant for a fast-food joint. Two — yes, two — hand dryers and a paper towel dispenser (with the classic brown industrial towels, naturally). That’s what I call options.
The stall itself was practically a studio apartment — large, modern, and equipped with a baby-changing station and its own trash bin. The toilet had a great flush, though I had to hold the button like I was negotiating with it. Not everything here was automatic, which made me question the bathroom’s sense of hierarchy.
The urinal zone, however, was a slip ‘n slide of questionable moisture. Whether it was splashback, mop water, or divine punishment, I nearly lost traction. Caution advised.
Sink performance was mixed: automatic but lazy, water colder than a tax auditor’s handshake, and the soap was the classic foamy blue variety with a sterile scent. Hand dryers felt eco-friendly in the worst way — polite but weak.
Still, modern design, cleanliness, and effort earn it a solid 3 Golden Plungers.

Read moreWell the shake machine was down again and I cannot figure out why this is going on. If I was a general manager I would be all over this. I would be calling Taylor trying to find out why no one has come out to fix my machine. If it's not fixable then upgrade to the next one that everybody else has because there's is a dinosaur.
Update: 04Apr23 I ordered through the mobile app. The food was fantastic! Hot fresh it was really really good. Unfortunately the shake machine and ice cream machine is down again. It was fixed for the longest time and now it's down again. That was the only drawback for my visit. I was looking to get some ice cream but no big deal. There's two soft serve places right in town so what can I say? Anyway they did a great job with the food and the employees were pleasant. Definitely...
