Main Moon Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of German Flatts

Make the extra few minute drive to borunda. They are the same price but better selection, california rolls all day and hibachi all day. Went to main moon during water advisory, was told they had no water at all sk i got soda, which i cant drink a lot of due to my health, then notice every single table someone has botttled water. So i had to ask again for a water. By that time they had already brought the check, something they do after only 10 minutes of us being there, every single time. They finally said they could get me a water, and my fiance a refill on his drink but they took the check back. When they brought the check they added 3 extra dollars because of the refill and added price for the bottle of water i shouldve been given in the first place. So not only are the refills not free during the water advisory but the entire buffet price is completely over priced. Also during dinner time they charge an extra 5 dollars because they have "california rolls" but they literally only bring out one tray and if you get there after the tray is gone, youll have to pay the extra 5 dollars still and they wont make anymore even if you ask. I'm guessing theyre slowly going out of business if they have to charge that much for so much less than their competitors. Extremely unhappy with the service and the fact that instead of letting us know refills, and me finally getting the drink i ordered in the first place, cost so much extra instead of just taking the bills and adding 3 dollars with out saying a single word. BUFFET IS CLOSED ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This review has been a long time coming, as I thought I had done a review when I posted my pics, seems as though I was mistaken 🤷🏼‍♀️ I use to eat at Main Moon on a regular basis, I then moved from the area so I couldn't go as often as I once did. Through that time they had done a remodel of their restaurant (many years ago now). I love the way they have their buffet arranged now, much more presentable. (Mind you, I'm comparing it to how it was many years ago). When I find myself visiting Ilion I take advantage of making a visit for their amazing buffet! The staff are wonderful, the food is amazing, and the establishment is very clean and taken care of. The prices are very reasonable for a buffet, for the quality, taste, and freshens of their large selection of food. The buffet is always full, even if you think that something is running low, they are quick to top it off with a fresh batch. I really can't say enough good about Main Moon! I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

By far the best Chinese takeout in the area! (Maybe anywhere...) My family and I have had dinner delivered from here a few times now. No matter what time of night we order, the food is always fresh! The sweet and sour and general Tso chicken are always the right level of crispy and not overcooked. The egg rolls are perfection, not soggy or full of grease. I've had all of these issues when ordering from other Chinese takeout, so to find not a single problem with this place makes...
