At the top of the hill shops in Fishcreek, we discovered the DC chocolate Desogn Cafe.

Fabulous chocolates are decorated beautifully and only enhance the presentation. The taste is not affected by the art on the outside.

Absolutely delightful store, run by the owners, who are clearly passionate about what they do. The chocolates are beautiful and delicious and the coffee is amazing! It was the best iced latte we had while exploring-the espresso had a great depth of flavor. In addition, the cranberry brown sugar scone was the best in my entire long weekend in DC (and I tried them everywhere I could!). After looking at the waits at other Fish Creek coffee houses, my wife and I decided to stop in at the DC cafe for something new. The cappuccinos that my wife and I enjoyed were some of the finest we have had anywhere. The chocolates looked amazing as well, but given that it was early in the morning, we will return to enjoy those at a later date. We will definitely be making many returns here.
