Not Licked Yet Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Town of Gibraltar

I have been coming out here with my family for years and had special memories with my grandma who recently passed away and I took my little ones there and we had a great time. We took them the next day with my parents. One of their employees was talking down to my mom when my mom was absolutely sweet and kind. He treated her like she was a stupid idiot. He was extremely rude to her where I had to come around the corner and put him in his place. I then asked for one of the managers, which apparently there was no manager there at the time, and one young lady had to step up to the window and say "I can take care of the problem." I told her a little bit about what happened and she said that she would take care of it but he was behind her while she was talking to me having an attitude. Finally, when I pointed out to her that he was having an attitude, she then said sorry. My father had to go to the window because he heard how incredibly rude and disrespectful he was to my mother and he politely asked the young ladies to deal with him. They said that they would and he said he appreciated it. This one moment from that young guy at the ice cream place changed that whole entire atmosphere...

Simply sensational. I am normally not into custard and I’ve tried other places, but this place is off the charts. I simply adore all of their frozen treats. We go up to door county several times a year and this place is one of our regular stops. One Day it was so hot outside…We actually had to stop in twice lol ❤️‍🔥

We’ve tried mostly everything on the menu and I must say everything is divine!

They also feature cherry pie, absolutely scrumptious! Ekkkk!

They offer seating inside as well as out. We’ve stopped by here in the fall where it’s a bit chilly, and the staff puts up giant heaters.

The property is very narrow, but they do have parking down below as well as up top on street level.

The staff is extremely patient, friendly and helpful

In the past, they offered us small samples in order to narrow down our options but again everything on the menu is simply mouthwatering so you can’t go wrong with anything!!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

There are many other places to go that deserve your patronage!! My family went here tonight and left with a bad taste in our mouths. We ordered our ice cream then proceeded to go into the dining room to sit down. This was at 9:30 and the hours stated closing time was 11. As soon as we opened the door we were quickly ushered out by Clay (the apparent owner) claiming the dining room was closed. We sat outside in the chilly weather and watched as numerous other customers walked in to sit. We were fairly upset and politely inquired the outside cashier as to why we were not allowed inside. He couldn't offer much for an explanation and the owner refused to speak with us. We then attempted to call when we got into our car and the employee said we are closed and hung up. The ice cream was decent but customer service is key. If you like your ice cream with a side of undeserved incivility, then this is you're place! Otherwise, take your hard earned...
