Has potential. Would go back maybe later in the season when they had a chance to get a bit more experience. My wife and I had reservations there Friday night. The atmosphere was great, and the place was packed. It took a little while for our waitress to even ask us for drinks and then a few minutes later she came back to tell us that they could not make an Amaretto Sour because they do not have sour mix. After I asked to see a drink menu (which I do not understand why that didn’t come first). I ordered a “V’Randa Margarita” and my wife order a Lemon Drop Margarita (not on the drink menu). The lemon drop had a hint of liquor and nearly all lemon but the V’Randa margarita was almost pure tequila. After that we just stuck with wine – can’t mess that up - except the first one we ordered they were out of. The waitress did apologize and say the bar tender was newish. Which is crazy to think you have only 1 bar tender on a Friday night with a packed house, and she was new? For appetizers we had the home-made chips which were good and for the main course we had the Salmon and the Steak Frites. The waitress could not describe the sauce used on the steak, so my wife asked for it on the side. When it came out sure enough it was not on the side. I thought it might be the waitress’s fault until the bill came and right on the bill it stated sauce on the side, so it was the kitchen not paying attention to that one. Even with all that the food was still very good so we tried the desserts. I wish the waitress would have told us they were so huge as we ordered one each and after 20 minutes of waiting, they brought out these huge desserts. Which justifies why we had to wait so long. All night you could tell the team was having trouble. Our appetizers made a stop at a neighboring table before coming to us and right before our main course arrived two waitresses walked along the tables like deer in headlights not knowing who they belong too. Unfortunately, they were not ours and so back into the...
Read moreidk who manages this place, but whoever responds to these reviews doesn't seem to actually take the advice and make changes. this place was phenomenal three years ago. the brussel sprouts aren't the same. that recipe definitely left with the chef that created them. they're still good, but they are not as good as they were. bolognese tasted like chef boyardee and the prime rib sandwich was overcooked. I wouldn't knock the service, either, like many of these reviews because the servers are just young people who probably lack guidance from management. I honestly think they're doing their best. for example, we ordered the kids food, then appetizers, then entrees and the apps came first and the kids food came with our entrees. the kids food should have come out first; as soon as it was done. since it all came out together the kids were anxious and you could tell half the entrees sat there for a while before everything was ready. whoever reads and comments on these reviews needs to care more and make some changes. manage this place better and...
Read moreWe went for dinner prior to a live music event. The dinner part went fairly well. Unusual menu offerings but food was prepared well and delivered to the table by someone who I think was the chef. Because of the floor plan waiters are wandering around constantly to bring beverages and other table items to diners. There is an amazing view but again because of floor plan can only be seen from a few tables / not ours. Following dinner we headed to the opposite side of building for music. Oops the few chairs and tables set up were already taken. Although it was a large space we were told that was it. After a few minutes of thinking we got our own chairs from the car. We weren’t the only ones to do that. After some commotion we were allowed to set up our own chairs and enjoyed the music. There was a bar set up but no snack or food service for anyone who would have wanted a bite to eat. This review is much too long. Long story short - don’t combine dinner with a show. It turned out to be something of an...
