Abbott's Frozen Custard of Greece — Restaurant in Town of Greece

Very upset with their customer service this week. I was planning a catering order with them. (which I am sure is down due to Cov19 restrictions) Called the store to get information regarding their caterings pricing. The lady was nice on the phone gave me the pricing than emailed me the pricing she gave me on the phone right away. When I went to put in the order in with the form provided I was told their pricing changed in March when the call and email communication was taking place on June 6th. They would not honor the price given to me 3 times. (the call, second the original email, and a second email asking for the PDF version not a picture of the sheet). I would completely understand on another party the price change but they knew this one was coming in this week with the old pricing and completely gave me wrong information 3 times.

The pricing went up 25% which is huge when throwing any event. I brought the order in to explain to the manger on duty, she said for this time I would accept the price as I was given incorrect information but next event the pricing will go up. Which that would have been perfectly fine. Than she called her manager and they said no. I have proof and still would not honor the price I was given 3 times. So I pulled out my order since it went up 25%! Unfortunately they lost my business for this event and now...

Last night I went to this location on Latta road. My husband is sick and wanted ice cream and he loves abbotts so I got in the car at 8pm and got there in minutes, I went inside to order because he wanted a strange request and last few times they messed it up and he was not happy especially when the ice cream was melted the time we got home an we don't leave that far. Anyway so I went inside an the young kid with the blonde hai was completely rude and would not do what I asked him to do and said it was against policy. I asked for a big cup with chocolate on the bottom crushed nuts an whipped cream and the vanilla crushed nuts an whipped cream and he looked in my face with his dumb look on his face an said no while the other guy behind the counter was able to do it (he was short w a go T) I did t care how much it cost , it was for my sick husband . He then said if I wanted that way I would have to add hot fudge I said he can't have that so I had to get it on the side to even have his order made. I ask for a manager and they do not have one on duty..I have been there many times through the drive thru and at the end of the order then even ask if I wanna leave a tip. What the hell is going on there . I am truly disgusted and will never visit this...

Recently I went to the latta rd Abbotts. I ordered 3 basic ice creams, a flurry, a sunday and a 2 scoop dish. A very basic order. On the sunday I specified no nuts as the sunday was for someone with a nut allergy. On the receipt is said no nuts just as we specified. When we got home the Sunday was loaded with nuts under the whipped cream. Fortunately it was noticed just before the first bite. I called the store to complain due to the seriousness of the error. The person I spoke to nonchalantly told me it was an honest mistake. As I pressed the seriousness of the incident only then did she apologize. She went on to say it’s late and they had a busy day and they are tired BUT if I said there was a nut allergy they would have made sure there were no nuts. Just asking for no nuts isn’t sufficient. This is ridiculous! A word of caution, if you have an allergy you would be smart to avoid this Abbotts. They don’t understand the seriousness of asking...
