Pizza Gram Plus — Restaurant in Town of Guilderland

We used to love this place. The food and service WAS top notch, but our recent trip was mostly a terrible one.

The hostess staff stood around talking instead of greeting customers as they came in.

Within 2 minutes of being served our salads, the hostess asked if we were done.

A short while later, we were again asked if we were done.

About a minute later, our entrees were served. Again, the hostess asked if we were done with our salads. I let her know she could take the salads away.

As we were on our 2-3 bite of dinner, the hostess asked if we were full yet. I indicated we weren't. She then asked if we wanted to go containers. I let her know we were going to eat some of our meals.

About 1-2 minutes later, hostess came over again to ask if we were done and wanted to go containers. I again said we didn't need them right now.

My child finished his small pasta bowl (chicken still untouched). The hostess came over to take the bowl away and yes, again asked if we were full and wanted to go containers. I let her know that we were still eating our dinners.

About 1-2 minutes later, our waitress brought over to go containers. I don't think she was aware of how many times the hostess asked already, but as we were still eating, I really don't understand why we were given containers at that time.

The hostess came back over to ask if we were done yet. At that moment, I put my fork down and packed up 75% of my dinner and 90% of my child’s dinner.

When my child went to use the restroom, the hostess came over and asked if we were done here. I let her know that we might have dessert.

A minute later, the hostess returned again (my child was still in the bathroom) to ask if we were all set. I again said that we might have dessert. She asked if she could take our drinks away. I let her know that we'd like to keep them. They were both about 1/2 full.

When my child returned from the bathroom I asked if he wanted dessert. The hostess came over and asked again if we were all set and if she could clear the table and take our drinks. I told her no.

The waitress told us what the dessert options were and my child made his choice. When she went to get the chocolate cake, the hostess again asked if we were done. I let her know we were having dessert. She asked if she could take our drinks away. I again told her we were going to keep them....still nearly 1/2 full.

We each had a bite of the cake before the hostess came over to the table to ask how the cake was and if we were all done. I let her know that we were going to eat the cake. "Do you still need your drinks?" I let her know again that we'd like to keep our drinks.

Shortly thereafter I asked the waitress for the check, paid it and we left.

As we walked to the car, my child told me that he had gotten sick when he used the bathroom. While I felt badly for him, I didn't think all too much of it since we both (barely) ate the same thing and I was fine at the time. About 4-5 minutes into the drive, I needed to make an urgent stop at McDonald's for both of us to get sick in the bathroom. We were both violently ill into the middle of the night.

*PLEASE NOTE * The dining room was not full. There were empty tables almost the entire time we were there. A nearby table was seated prior to us arriving to the restaurant and was still there as we were leaving. That table nor any other nearby was continuously bothered by the hostess. I / we have never been treated so poorly and rushed so much at any establishment. We were so sick from the food that neither of us could properly function the next day.

It was truly a horrendous experience.

I reached out to management, but they didn't respond.

With the terrible customer service and the food that made us sick for days, no way we...

The person taking the delivery order was not very good at taking orders. He repeatedly made errors and asked questions that were literally answered by me the previous sentence. Additionally I was called back and asked for my card info again, because...you guessed it, another mistake. (Side note: I'm not comfortable with businesses that ask for the Zip code associated with your card. That's just TMI if you ask me.) so the driver shows up, after he blew by me because either Mr. phone man didn't relay my message to call me in route, or he just doesn't follow instructions either. He arrives, sees me as I approach him...and never gets out of his car. The Last time I checked I ordered pizza and wings, Not crystal meth. Get out of the car buddy, show some initiative! And now we get to the food. The wings were...just not good and I'm not sure exactly why. Too dry? Idk but they were very boring, and mind you I had a side of garlic Parmesan with those and it still didn't elevate these boring wings. And finally the pizza ☹️. Personal pan, buffalo chicken. Horrible. Just---horrible. I'm assuming they saturated the pizza crust with some other type of sauce than tomato or even blue cheese or ranch. It was this spaghettiOs style sweet and mild sauce that single-handedly destroyed this already subpar pizza beyond repair. I threw away two slices ladies and gentlemen. I can handle poor service. I can handle pricey food. But I will never accept garbage pizza from a Pizza restaurant, that additionally has very poor service. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. What an...

I ordered a bbq pizza tonight and when we got the pizza right away you can see the BBQ sauce looks waayy watered down . We let the waitress know we didn’t like the pizza , she was helping others while speaking to us from across the dinning room about our experience, she asked me if I read the menu ..from across the dinning room .. obviously I felt a little shocked .. and mad . So she brings the pizza back to the kitchen to make sure it’s a bbq pizza even tho I told her I knew it was it just didn’t taste good at all. She brings the pizza back and says no I can’t take it off of your bill because this is what you ordered. But wait , I didn’t ask for it to come off my bill , I continued to let her know the bbq sauce was the cheapest tasting bbq sauce I think I’ve had .. ever , and she says LOL 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s homemade .. so you took a bbq sauce and mixed it with water . That’s how that tasted . Anyway the ordeal left me laughing because the waitress straight acted like she just didn’t care , yea pizza was $20 for a 12 cut , but what was even funnier is she said and I quote” I told you not to order the square pizza … and she did too while I was ordering .. said the round pizza tastes better .. well yikes for your pizza and yikes to the service … since you’ve opened your dinning room it’s clear your cutting major corners to cut costs .. not just my review says this either…. PHOTO ATTACHED BECAUSE THATS WHAT WE ULTIMATELY DECIDED TO EAT INSTEAD.. SAVE YOURSELVES AND GO GRAB SOME PAESANS PIZZA RIGHT...
