The Bat Factory is a community diner/store serving simple meals and everyday supplies. This was our first American breakfast, we both enjoyed what was very different from back home, on our drive north to Niagara. We were a bit surprised by the total absence of anything the factory made, base ball bats. I see that as a missed opportunity to draw in potential customers. We chatted with a group of older gents about world problems, that made it for us, it was an eye opener how friendly Americans are once you are out of NY city. Would we go again? Read moreStopped in today, New Years Day, and was pleased to find this family run business open. Ordered a lunch of chicken fingers, BLT's and French fries. Everything tasted great. The convenience store was fully stocked with Pepsi products and a large coffee station. Had the pleasure of meeting the whole family as they were all working to give their employees the day off. The 2 girls behind the food counter were more interested in their conversation than the customers. Had they been paying attention, I would have received the sausage I ordered on my egg sandwich, not ham.
