Bolo fresh kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Food is meh, ok. Not very flavorful. The veggies look old and soggy so I skipped on those. I asked if I can taste a small piece of the steak and I was given a piece in the palm of my hand to eat. Not on a plate or on a fork but my hand. Ok...Yikes!

Service was not so bad the ladies did their best. I go to pay with a non-chip gift card and they did not know how to process the payment. That cannot be good for business. This store occupies a very prominent position on busy main street, you have hospitals, banks, universities, schools, offices and other business near by who will use a credit card, debit card or a gift card with no chip. So now I am ready to eat and surprise, no utensils, no sauces, no napkins, nothing in the bag. It was like hey take this and get out.

Atmosphere, none at all. This review is the most 'atmosphere' you will get.

Better than Chipotle. The portions are amazing and they don’t cheap out on anything. Everything was fresh and tasty and the lady serving was extremely nice. For a steak bowl it’s about $12.
