East Village Green Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The owners are very nice people and we have been going to this deli since it opened. The food was very good and we wanted to support local business. Over the years things have changed and we started to notice the product was not as good. We gave it another try because we do like the place but once again it was disappointing.The sandwich was very light on the meat, I felt like it was a bread sandwich instead of a cold cut sandwich and the roll itself tasted old( stale). I hope the owner reads these reviews and makes some changes. We really want to be loyal customers but the product has to warrant returning, especially since it’s not cheap. And maybe think about taking the Covid barrier at the register...

I've lived in Levittown my entire life and I've enjoyed a lot of the delis in the area, I would typically go to the cow but after the new owners their sandwiches were never filled the same way, so I was in search for a new deli, I stumbled upon this one and was extremely pleased. Their sandwiches were stuffed and large, fairly cheap for the sandwich I was receiving as well, tasted delicious, and the service was really sweet and kind, there may be a slight language barrier but overall an amazing experience and i recommend the deli. I'm praying that the 7/11 opening doesn't hurt the business of this small...

Went to get a bologna sandwich from here. Deli on Jerusalem Ave in Levittown by 711. They never said they didnt have Boars Head, which is clearly displayed on their windows. They gave me a $10 german bologna sandwich which i cant stand. I found this out because i started eating it and realized it tasted funny after thinking they just sliced the bologna rly thin. When we brought the sandwich back and asked to swap for a different sandwich since it wasn't what i wanted, they refused to do it and wouldn't refund. Never going there again,...
