New York Beach Club & Restaurant ( Open to Public after 6pm ) — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

One Saturday night after work I wasn't sure what I was going to do, I didn't have my son. I checked with my friend from church before going out to see if he needed media ministry help. Most of the time he isn't at the church after 5 on a Saturday but I like to check sometimes. Another friend wanted to come here to see streetfighter the rolling stones tribute band. I'm not overly crazy about the rolling stones but I'm open to checking out stuff I'm not too familiar with and getting exposed to new things. So I told my friend I'd go with her.

I think they are open to the public after a certain time so if you aren't a member you can still stroll on in. Smart move on their part because they'll get extra business that way.

I wasn't too much of a fan of the band playing but it was really nice to be on the beach hearing some music that part was pretty awesome. I walked down to the beach area to check it out.

My friend wanted to eat and I didn't have a lot of money so we shared a pizza. She picked the toppings. Many times I'm a people pleaser. I just don't want to get into an argument and will comply with the wishes of others pretty easily if I am okay with it so I let her pick the toppings.

Overall it was a nice experience being here and I would come here again especially if they had a band I like better than the rolling stones...

My family and I just toured NYBC. We received an invitation for an open house from 11-1 for today, as we previously inquired about the facility. We were greeted by the manager Jill, She told us to wait by the pool for 15 minutes till she is ready to start. As we were waiting my 3 Yr old wanted to go in the pool so I told him he can go in for a few minutes just until the tour starts. Jill immediately came out of the office and informed us this was not a free beach or pool day and began to question if we were even serious in becoming members! I felt so uncomfortable but my son wanted to go on the tour since we already drove 30 min to be there. The rest of the tour her rudeness continued, saying she's not sure what we do for work or where we live but letting us know there is wifi! She clearly was given some kind of vibe that we may not be serious, i don't know what would have given her that impression. My kids are young, going to be 4 and 2 yrs old. Inviting someone to an open house as a family and not allowing the kids to explore the playground or the beach was surprising. With all of that being said we will not be...

My first and last experience at the beach club was HORRIBLE ! I was interested in becoming a member but upon arrival i was greeted by a disrespectful man that happened to be the OWNER. The owner was upset that i was parked in a clearly marked parking spot in front of the office. The owner tapped on the hood of my truck, scolded me, than screamed at me to move. According to him the spot was "Not a parking spot but walkway and i needed to move now". After i finally parked, i entered the office to complain about the incident. I asked the manager who was that man that tapped on my vehicle? She told me it was the owner and i was shocked. You would expected a certain level of class and professionalism from the owner of any establishment. When i was ready to leave right in front of the office parked a white truck in the same spot that i was attacked for parking in. The owner was also present with nothing to say.
