ON FIRE BAGELS — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

From the Outside, the place looks ok! The moment you open the door, your suffocated by a nasty, disgusting, Roach Smell! The Refrigerator that stores the Cream cheese and Salads are a disgrace! Each tray has 1scoop of whatever salads the're selling. I've been in the business for 40years! No Owner displays the're foods like that! Very Poor display! Nevertheless the glass on the refrigerator cases and Soda cases were so filthy how do the owners actually expect to sell anything? It's Gross! I glanced at the Grill, and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in 1year atleast. The Smell is Horrific! Just for Curiosity reasons, we decided to be fair and make a purchase. As to be Expected, the bagel 🥯 with Veggie cream Cheese was terrible! The Coffee ☕️, self service, was in dirty foggy Coffee pots! 6containers of cream and milk, each container was equally the same amount in the containers. What are the chances?.Also the cream And the milk were both sour,bad and an odor also to the containers. THE PLACE smelled like the Exterminator was just there and sprayed!...

The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.

The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.

The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.

Visited for a simple breakfast: bacon egg and cheese on a roll with mayo, just how I like it. The food was fine. No complaints. Nothing special but perfectly adequate. I visited this place out of convenience of location and it was open early. I did like the decor and the atmosphere of the place. The staff was friendly and service was great. She gave us more napkins than we needed without being asked. That is always the best. The breakfast sandwich came with a free small beverage. My wife got a small coffee and I got a small carton of orange juice.
