Papa Presto Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Listen, I love this pizza! I mean seriously. I love it so much that whenever I get 2 slices, I sit in my car and eat it right away! A regular slice is absolutely delish! It's not a fancy place but they recently added new tables, painted and put in a few other new additions which definitely makes it look nicer. Nevertheless, I don't go for the aesthetics, I go for the PIZZA 😉

UPDATE* BUYER BEWARE‼️ So the above was a few years ago. Now it's different. I went in the evening and bought a pie plus garlic knots. When I went in to do the pickup, the knots were literally rock hard! I couldn't believe it! Thank GOD I tried it or better yet, I attempted to try it in my car. I couldn't even bite into it. I mean seriously and I'm not exaggerating. After feeling stone knots, I decided to look at the pie. Again, thank GOD I did! They gave me a pepperoni pie!!! I don't eat pork! So I brought it back and the young Spanish girl behind the counter wasn't pleasant. Never extended an apology and when I told her she, they, should have their 😷 masks on, she said, "It's hot back here if you worked back here you would know." That was all. She then took the pie and instead of tossing it, she put it back on the bunch of pies for resale.😳So I could've fondled the pie, gave it back, and some unsuspecting person would've gotten that order. Im surr they did. I asked about compensation and nothing!

I believe the owner would've been mortified had he been there. He seems like a nice guy and the few times I've seen him, he was always pleasant. Oh not to mention, the pie isn't like it used to be. Very thin crust, smaller in size and not as much sauce. Buy at...

To be honest the pizza isn't that good the only thing is that the slices are bigger than the one on uniondale ave. It's way too much tomato sauce on the pizza at times the cheese always slides off easily and the WORST part is it has no taste. but, I give credit to the workers they work really hard but, every time I go inside the store the place is plastered with pictures of the owners daughter and I think to myself like this is a pizza store not a home and the owner or his daughter or wife or whatever is never there . I asked the workers one time how come there's no pictures of them I've seen them in there working for years but, they get no credit for it. Spanish people work real hard but, owner got them in there like they're his slaves or something yea they get paid but still. give them some recognition at least and get rid of the family photos of all the years I've gotten salad in there I have yet to see a wife husband and kid work together in there you got this far because of the people who work for you remember that.

This is why it is extremely important to gain an education that way you won't have people like that take you for granted and take credit for what you do when you have the ability to get your own business and work alongside people who you respect and will respect you.

I ordered my food online at 8:17pm got a confirmation from Presto Pizza at 8:19pm with a wait time of 60mins. I called at 9:50pm to ask what is going on, I was told they only had 2 drivers and they are very backed up and 3 more orders needed to go out before mine. My food finally arrived at my house at 10:32pm and to make it even worse the food sucked. 1st time I order from this spot. I was trying a new place since the places I like are in different towns but dam I could have driven to the city got my food came home ate it and Prestos food still would have a 30min wait. As for the food my pasta was hot which is good but the broccoli was old and pasta way over cooked, my side of spinach had no flavor and drenched in what looked like butter it was awful and my baked clams tasted like old lemons, I couldn't even finish 1. So needless to say never ordering from here again. Trust me don't waste your time. Eat somewhere else or cook it's quicker and taste better. I mean seriously how does 1 place suck this bad oh wait the Garlic Knots are the only thing I ate and it was ok. Such a waste of money. I'm now actually making my self some food since the food I order all went in the trash.

Update Next Day 09.01.18 Like I said all the food went in the Trash but the little I tasted kept me up all night vomiting. Please people don't do it to your self. This place should have an inspector...
